Cairo Sightseeing

Pyramids of Giza - After breakfast at the hotel, our Egyptologist will pick you up for a private tour of Cairo. First, visit the Giza Pyramids (Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus). The Great Pyramid is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Nearby, see the Sphinx and the Dream Stela. The Sphinx, a statue with a lion’s body and a human head, guarded Egypt’s northwestern gateway.

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Next, visit the Egyptian Museum, home to a vast collection of rare and unique antiquities. Highlights include the section dedicated to King Tutankhamun, featuring his royal throne, and the Mummies Court. The museum also houses ancient jewelry, statues, and portraits from various dynasties. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Transfer from Cairo to Aswan & Aswan Sightseeing

Aswan High Dam - After breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport for a morning flight to Aswan. Visit the charming city of Aswan, known for its Nubian heritage and Greek-Roman monuments. Drive over the old Aswan Dam, built in 1898, and visit the High Dam, one of the world’s largest, built in 1960. Enjoy views of Lake Nasser, the Friendship Monument, and the power plants.

Temple of Philae - Take a boat trip to Philae Island, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Visit the complex of Greek-Roman chapels and the Philae Temple, relocated to Egilika Island to save it from flooding.

Unfinished Obelisk - Visit the ancient quarry to see the Unfinished Obelisk, which illustrates how ancient Egyptians cut obelisks for their temples. Return to the cruise for an overnight stay in Aswan.

Sailing from Kom Ombo

Temple of Kom Ombo - Enjoy breakfast and leisure time in the morning. After lunch, sail to Kom Ombo. Visit the Kom Ombo Temple and Crocodile Museum. The temple, located on the east bank of the Nile, is uniquely divided between Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. Return to the cruise and sail to Edfu. Overnight in Edfu.

Edfu Temple & Sailing to Luxor

Temple of Horus - Visit the well-preserved Edfu Temple, dedicated to Horus, the falcon god. See the second tallest pylon in Egypt and inscriptions depicting the struggle between Horus and Seth, the god of evil. Return to the cruise and sail to Esna, where you will cross two locks on the Nile. Overnight in Luxor.

Luxor Temple - Upon arrival in Luxor, visit Luxor Temple, which has witnessed various civilizations and religions over thousands of years. Built by Amenhotep III in the 18th Dynasty around 1300 B.C., the temple was later completed by Ramses II and Tutankhamun. Return to the cruise for an overnight stay in Luxor.

Luxor Sightseeing & Transfer to Hurghada

Valley of the Kings - After breakfast and check-out, explore the Valley of the Kings, home to 63 royal tombs from the New Kingdom era. The tombs feature carvings and inscriptions depicting the religious life of the Pharaohs.

Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Visit the unique Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, designed by the high priest and architect Senenmut in 1503 B.C. The temple features inscriptions of Hatshepsut’s royal journey to Puntland and her divine birth.

Colossi of Memnon - Hear the legendary story of the Colossi of Memnon in a granary area.

Temple of Karnak - Visit the Karnak Temple complex, one of the largest in the world. See the Sacred Lake and the huge Scarab Statue, which is said to bring good luck if you walk around it. The temples were dedicated to the Theban triad: Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu.

Hurghada - Transfer to Hurghada by air-conditioned vehicle. Overnight stay in Hurghada.

Hurghada - Enjoy breakfast and a day at your leisure, or choose from optional excursions. Overnight in Hurghada. Extra excursions include lunch and dinner on board. Overnight in Hurghada. (Submarine, Safari, city tour)

Hurghada

Cairo - After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Hurghada Airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, our representative will transfer you to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Departure / Back Home

Cairo - After breakfast and check-out, transfer to Cairo Airport for your departure.
