This was once an ancient Elymian city (the Elymians were a Sicilian ethnicity who lived between the 9th and 8th centuries BC). This archaeological site is one of the best-preserved in all of Sicily. Visitors can admire the Doric temple (constructed in the 5th century BC) and the theater. The theater, built at the end of the 3rd century BC, is still used for historical and cultural events and exhibitions.

Borgo Storico Erice - Around noon, we depart for Mount San Giuliano, where Erice, a medieval village, is situated 750 meters above sea level. This town was also established by the Elymians. In Erice, visitors can enjoy its unique atmosphere by strolling through its medieval streets and visiting renowned sites such as Porta Trapani, the Church of San Giuliano, Piazza della Logia, and the Castle of Venus.
