An excellent day trip outside the city! - This tour and our guide Daniel really made our first trip to Colombia! The whole Medellin Day Trips team worked with us to reorganize our trip after initial plans didn’t work out and Daniel was an extremely helpful tour guide with in depth knowledge about the coffee farm and coffee process - great photo guide too! Would recommend this tour if you want a mix of adventure and learning about the local coffee industry!

10/10 excursion! - The horseback riding and coffee tour was definitely a highlight of our trip to Colombia. Laura went above and beyond — she was super knowledgeable, and a fun tour guide. Highly recommend to anyone considering a day trip from Medellin. Logistics were insanely easy too.

What an amazing day! Must Do! - What an amazing day! Sarah picked us up promptly at the agreed upon time from our hotel and drove us to the first adventure, horse back riding. Along the way she shared city history and cultural information. Once we got to the horse back riding spot we were greater by a lovely family that maintains the horses. Sarah and Andres guided my wife and I on an amazing hill side trail where we were just blown away but the natural beauty of Colombia and Medellin. The trail is out and back and you stop and a lovely farm to rest your legs at the half way point. After we finished with the horses we were driven about an hour to a lovely small family coffee farm. There they feed us an amazing authentic Colombian lunch and started to explain the history of coffee and process of how it is grown, harvested and roasted. You then get suited up and actually pick coffee cherries and sense the labor and hard work it takes to produce such an amazing drink. We left with over 5lbs of coffee. Sarah was there the whole way and so knowledgeable, you can tell she loves what she does. 100% recommend this tour, so worth it.

A wonderful experience and the best guide! - Amazing experience! From the moment Sara picked us up, she started sharing information on Medellín, its neighborhoods, and its history. The horseback ride was perfect for beginners but could be scaled up for more advanced riders. We absolutely loved the coffee tour! The farm was lovely, and we really enjoyed picking the berries and walking through the process of going from bean to cup. The different methods of preparation were incredibly interesting - you could really taste different flavors in the coffee depending on how it was prepared. What I loved most about the tour was how personalized it felt. The tour showed us a slice of Colombian country life that did not feel sterilized for tourists. Sara felt more like an enthusiastic host than your typical tour guide. 100% would recommend for folks looking to get a deeper understanding of coffee culture and Colombia as a country.

Absolutely amazing all around!!! - This whole tour was incredible!! The horse back riding was amazing. We had so much fun walking, trotting anf galloping through the beautiful views and Daniel, our guide, got so many great photos of us! Also, the coffee tour was unbelievable. We learned so much about the process of making coffee and how to taste and enjoy the flavor more. The farm was beautiful, the food was delicious and Daniel brought an extra energy that added to the entire experience. I highly recommend.

Wonderful way to spend the day - This trip is amazing. The horseback riding was so much fun and also being welcomed into this family farm to see how coffee was made was so cool. Very authentic experience and the best way to see another side of Medellin. The best part is our tour guide Laura— she was amazing. Felt like we were with another friend! Highly highly recommend— ask for Laura!

Fantastic tour - Sara was an AMAZING and super attentive guide. You could tell she genuinely wanted to give me the best experience possible. We drove about an hour out of El Poblado up into the mountains to ride the horses. I’m an experienced rider and they gave me a lead horse. He was super sweet and Sara and the horse guide let me pick the pace. It was really beautiful to trot and canter on the dirt trails up in the mountains. Afterwards, we drove to Sabaneta for the coffee tour. We got really lucky and saw the coffee flowers blooming. The coffee farm family was lovely and I enjoyed learning all about the history of coffee. Highly recommend this tour (as well as the other tours offered by this group! They are definitely a step above!)

Coffee darm and horseback riding in one day - Coffee farm and horseback riding tour with Laura was a great time. She is the best, and is probably the most friendly guide we have ever used. Her knowledge of coffee production was amazing. I highly recommend this day trip!
