Our journey began in the enchanting town of Aveiro, often referred to as the “Venice of Portugal.” As a family, we were eager to explore the picturesque canals and experience the vibrant culture that this charming town had to offer. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the boat tour in the traditional moliceiros, colorful boats that glide gracefully through the waterways.

The kids were thrilled as we boarded the moliceiro, their eyes wide with wonder at the bright colors and intricate designs of the boat. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, sharing fascinating stories about the history of Aveiro and its canals. After our delightful boat tour, we headed to Costa Nova, a quaint fishing village known for its iconic striped houses.
