Duration: 11 hours

Highlights
  • Marble Canyon - Explore 7 bridges in Marble Canyon during winter, walking in a zigzag pattern over the deep limestone canyon and the winding creek below. This canyon is where Tocum Creek meets the Suzaku River. It’s a site of ancient Cambrian fossils, showcasing soft-bodied creatures from millions of years ago. A narrow path over the creek offers views of the canyon below, with a frozen waterfall cascading from above on the right. The stunning landscape and refreshing pools are truly impressive.
  • Lake Louise - In winter, continue your journey to the enchanting Lake Louise in the Rocky Mountains, backed by the Victoria Glacier. From January to April each year (depending on official opening hours), the grand Ice Magic event takes place here. Artists and ice sculpture enthusiasts from around the world gather to create a magical fairy tale world.

The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise (additional cost for optional Afternoon Tea) sits by the lakeside, resembling a painting with snow-capped mountains and glacial lakes in harmony. Enjoy Snow Shoeing (free to borrow), stepping into the soft snow for an ice and snow adventure (subject to weather and lake freezing conditions).

  • Moraine Lake - Located 14 km southeast of Lake Louise, Moraine Lake is a stunning turquoise lake surrounded by the Ten Peaks, waterfalls, and rock piles. The water’s color changes intensity throughout the summer. (This spot closes on Oct 14, with Yoho National Park’s Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge as alternative attractions).
  • Lake Minnewanka - Just 15 minutes east of Banff, Lake Minnewanka is the largest and deepest glacial lake in Banff National Park, reaching a depth of 142 meters. Named by the Indian Stoneni family, it means “water spirit.” This beautiful aqua blue lake is surrounded by majestic mountain peaks and unique shoreline rocks. (Optional Add-on Cruise available for a fee, please contact customer service). (Yoho National Park’s Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge are alternative attractions for the Winter tour starting on Oct 14).

Incredible tour with Ms.Lisa - Unforgettable tour with our super caring guide Lisa (荣娟女士). Her relaxing and proper arrangement really make our day. We can tell that Lisa must be lived in Calgary for so many years from her detailed and knowledgeable introductions. Rocky Mountain is so gorgeous that we can’t wait to come back again. Overall definitely worth a try

Great tour - This was a great tour - wouldn’t be able to fault it. The places we visited were beautiful, the driver/tour guide (Alston) was knowledgeable of the areas, informative and ensured people completed their booked optional add ons, he spoke in both English and Mandarin; absolutely everything he said was translated into the respective languages - accomodating for everyone onboard. We were given enough time at each stop - he was adamant (but polite) on punctuality, which personally I preferred that. Overall, it was a good day!

Excellent Experience - The bubble in the lake is very amazing. The day we went is cold, so we stayed there only 40 mins, but the bubble is so magic, it is a place worth visiting。 By the way, the tour guide is very nice, gave us enough explanation along the way.

Lake Louise experience! - I loved this tour! Especially appreciated the 3 hours at lake Louise! Honestly that's a magnificent place, so unique! I would definitely love to stay here for all day.. but still) I managed to do both ice skating (you need to try!!) And horse sleight! A little annoying-the big group and spending so much time stopping at different hotels(

Great locations, terrible driver. - The locations visited were all excellent with plenty of time to visit each one. Marble Canyon was a little challenging for someone with mobility challenges. The reason I have given only three starts for this excursion is because my husband and I were the only non Chinese speakers on the trip. The Chinese tour guide spoke English but was very difficult to understand and this spoiled the experience. What was most troubling was the driving. The driver/tour guide drove at 110KMH when the maximum speed limit was 90 KMH. There were occasions when he had no hands on the steering wheel because he used the headset microphone in his hand while pointing with the other. On the first stop I told him I was unhappy with the speed of his driving and that I felt unsafe when he had no hands on the steering wheel, he seemed surprised, but did slow down when the journey recommenced. He also kept checking his mobile phone while driving. Although I enjoyed the locations the journey was unpleasant.

N/a - When there's few reviews, there's reason. It's quite reasonable but I would not recommend you if you have expectation.
