Highlights
  • Lac Des Arc Mountain View Point - Lac Des Arc offers a stunning view of the lake with the Lafarge Cement plant in the background, situated at the base of the hill. We’ll pause by the lake to snap some photos.
  • Lake Louise - Nestled in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada, Lake Louise is a breathtaking alpine lake renowned for its turquoise waters and majestic mountain backdrop. It’s a must-see destination. Although parking can be scarce, as a guide, I can drop off and pick up guests to ensure they make the most of their visit. In 60 minutes, visitors can marvel at the stunning scenery, stroll along the lakeshore, and take memorable photos. They can also visit the nearby Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, rent a canoe, or go on a short hike to fully appreciate the natural beauty of this iconic spot.
  • Natural Bridge - Located in Yoho National Park, the Natural Bridge is a captivating natural formation. This bridge was created by the erosion of limestone rock by the fast-moving waters of the Kicking Horse River, which once flowed over a typical waterfall. Over thousands of years, the water wore away the rock, forming a hole behind the falls. As the hole expanded, the river began to flow through it, creating the tunnel we see today. The result is a stunning and unique natural structure that is a must-see when visiting Yoho National Park.
  • Johnston Canyon - What makes it so popular? Its incredible scenic value, multiple waterfall views, and easy access over a relatively short distance. People of all ages and activity levels can enjoy and experience the Canyon. The trail gently ascends along the creekside/canyon edge and through the forest, presenting 7 dramatic waterfalls over a 2.75 km (1.5 miles) self-guided hike. The lower falls are a 20-minute walk or 1 km (1/2 mile) stroll, offering an amazing view of the roaring falls from a bridge or a small cave for a closer look.
  • Bow Falls - Bow Falls is a significant waterfall on the Bow River, located just before its confluence with the Spray River.
  • Vermilion Lakes - The Vermilion Lakes are part of a riparian wetland formed by the river. Surrounded by sedge marshes, white spruce forests, and willow thickets, they are part of the Bow River’s floodplains. We’ll stop for about 5 minutes on our way to Banff.
  • Mount Norquay Lookout - The Mount Norquay lookout offers stunning views of the Canadian Rockies near Banff, Alberta. Accessible via a scenic road, it provides panoramic vistas of rugged landscapes, lush forests, and the town of Banff. It’s a prime spot for photography and relaxation, making it a must-visit for nature lovers in the Banff National Park area.
  • Banff Avenue - Banff downtown is a charming area that blends natural beauty with a lively atmosphere. The streets are lined with quaint shops and cafes, offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. For lunch, visitors can enjoy a diverse culinary scene, with options ranging from local Canadian dishes to international cuisine. Whether opting for a casual meal at a cozy cafe or a fine dining experience, the town caters to all tastes. After lunch, exploring the bustling streets and boutique shops enhances the charm of Banff downtown, making it an ideal spot for a delightful lunch and an immersive experience.
