Awsome - The guide was incredible, the garden is a magical dream, the terrace which serves as a map of Colombia was interactive and a pleasure to explore. All three of left the tour wanting to come again and thoroughly happy.

A can’t-miss hidden paradise - Let me start off by saying I’ve been to quite a few butterfly reserves across the Americas and none of them come even close to Andoke in terms of sheer jaw dropping beauty. They’ve turned what was once deforested hillside into the most beautiful tribute to Colombia’s plants and insects. I can’t stress how meticulously every orchid, every tree, every flowing stream, has been cultivated. And their rare selection of butterflies will leave you deeply moved. Every single guide there is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, and you can’t help but feel incredibly lucky to accompany them on your journey through the park. If you’re a plant, bird, or insect lover, or just need a place to find true tranquility for a day, you have to come to Andoke.

Butterfly park - Really interesting and beautiful place to visit. I was impressed as this is a small project run by a couple, not commercial as I’ve previously experienced butterfly park. Their aim is to enhance the environment by caring for and cultivating butterflies quite simply. They built it themselves and their house, and it’s quite moving and beautiful. I really recommend a visit and I enjoyed the experience and hearing a little bit about the butterfly project and Colombia.

What an excellent surprise Andoke was!! - Hadn't planned on visiting but so glad I did. Butterfly walk & guide exceptionally good, Interactive garden map:great idea!

Nice but expensive experience - You can access the place using Uber or public transport service "Jeep" bound for Pichindé, which is taken in a parking lot located at race 10 with street 10 in the center of Cali, the tour takes half an hour and the views of the city are spectacular. Admission costs $40,000 for adults and $35,000 for children, this includes the tour guided by the butterfly and by the map of Colombia, I find the cost high for the short of the tour and for what there is to do there, however, it should be kept in mind that being a personal project of the owners the maintenance costs must be high. On the positive side I highlight that the walk is done with very few people and that there are no crowds. I expected more butterflies in the butterfly, I actually think that on the hike to Pance village you can see the same number of butterflies in the natural state. The guides are very friendly and have knowledge of what they say. A negative aspect is that they do not stop offering the additional services (which are also expensive) throughout the tour. As a suggestion, the trail should be enriched with more in-depth information than can be seen there.

Only 15 minutes with the butterflies - Was kind of disappointed. Expected to spend an hour or so to see butterflies, but what happened was 75 minutes of talking (mainly oriented to the kids) and 15 minutes seeing butterflies. Cannot really recommend unless you go there with kids.
