Excellent tour and guide - Lem was an absolutely outstanding guide, and I can't recommend taking a tour with him enough! His deep knowledge, engaging storytelling, and great sense of humor made the experience unforgettable. Not only did he provide fascinating insights into the rich history of Salsa, but he also painted a vivid picture of Cali's vibrant culture and its significance as the "Salsa Capital of the World." As someone who adores Salsa, this tour gave me a newfound appreciation for the music, its origins, and the city that lives and breathes its rhythm. If you're passionate about music, history, or simply want to experience Cali in a unique and entertaining way, Lem is the guide for you!

Disappointed about Cali tour. - Lem explained Salsa history very interestingly and dynamically. But, the walking tour seems to have really little walking and more sitting on stairs. The places we stopped by seemed to be explained very superficially, especially the graffiti. Since it's also a graffiti tour, that's what Lem explained the least and pointed out the most obvious things about them, I wish it was discussed more in depth (artists, meanings, times, etc.). Instead, Lem emphasized (also in a very high volume) a lot of political positions without much meaning . And, although they're important, they're not necessary.

Disappointing compared to the Bogota graffiti tour - Lem was a very enthusiastic tour guide, he had a lot of energy and a lot of political commentary about the recent history of Cali. Unfortunately, his enthusiasm sometimes interfered with what it was he was trying to communicate. Likewise, compared to the Bogota graffiti walking tour there was surprisingly little walking and even less graffiti. I would have liked to have learned more about the graffiti, its artists and the meaning. Most of the tour is walking from one set of stairs where we sat and listened, to another set of stairs…where we sat and listened. There was definitely some interesting history about salsa but the disconnection with that history and the area we toured was a let down.
