Highlights
  • Farallones de Cali National Natural Park - We will meet at 8:00 a.m. in the Jairo Varela square, from where we will leave for the Farallones de Cali National Park. Upon arriving at this extraordinary place where the rock formations and tropical forests, moors and humid jungle stand out, we will take a tour to observe hummingbirds, mountain warblers and some endemic species of the Cauca Valley. Very attentive! Butterflies and praying mantises will appear as we pass. Did you know that more than 30 rivers and 80 streams originate in this protected area? Afterwards we will go to a local restaurant to enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by the host communities. With renewed energy, we will enjoy a two-hour walk in which we will discover different varieties of tropical trees and see wild violets while we listen to the legends and ancient tales of the indigenous tribes of the region. Finally, we will set off back to Cali, where arrival at the meeting point is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
