Connection with nature - I was looking for a place of adventure in Cali and this was the best. The guides took us to amazing places that it is only impossible to know without them they know.
From mountains to natural hot tubs and lots of loins 😍 Thanks for everything!

Just do it! But be prepared to for moderate activity level. - This tour was definitely a top highlight of our time in Colombia! We were picked up at our bnb at 9 am and the taxi took us straight to the retreat center (outdoor restaurant/outdoor lounge/glamping). There were a total of 6 people plus the guide, Juan Roman. He first led us through a series of stretches before starting the hike around 10 am. It was a short hike down to the river but moderately rocky. Juan roman stopped to point out a few things (in Spanish so it's helpful to know the language or have a friend translate). Our first water experience was a cliff jump into the river (or climb down the rocks with a rope to hang onto). Juan Roman did a great job at showing everyone the best way to walk through the river and where to step for the safest path through. He knew the river well and kept us safe. He also showed fun options for the more adventurous of the group. We stopped at 4 different places along in river to play around. After around 3 and a half hours we hiked back up (though he checked in with the group earlier to see if we were hungry and wanted to go back but we weren't ready yet). Thanks for a great experience, Juan Roman!
Lunch was fantastic! It was a well-deserved reward after the river excursion, your typical rice, beans, meat (or veg), plantain patty (tostones) and delicious agua panela drink. After lunch we made use of the property's hammocks before leaving around 3:45 pm. Our taxi driver arrived around lunchtime but didn't pressure us to leave until we were ready. The drive was about an hour back to our bnb in the San Antonio neighborhood.
Tips:
-This excursion requires a moderate level of physical activity. Not recommended if you don't ever exercise. Also not recommended for small children due to the large rocks to navigate and the strong water current in places.
-Wear/pack good fitting water shoes. You will be walking through the river to get to the waterfalls and pools. The rocks can be slippery. You'll also be taking ladders up and down the rocks ledge.
-Wear a sturdy swimsuit (reconsider your string bikini). If you go into the waterfall, the water pressure will pull down your swimsuit if you're not prepared. Juan Roman told us to hold on to our straps before going in so we didn't lose our suits.
-You can bring a backpack and change your clothes at the retreat center. But wear your swimsuit right at the start of the hike.
-You could actually stay at the property if you make arrangements in advance. Wish we would've known that.
-Bring bug spray for short hike, you won't regret it. Sunblock not so much as spots were shady.
-They can accommodate vegetarian, probably vegan too if you ask once you get to the retreat property. The food is good!
-Give your guide a tip! It wasn't requested whatsoever but it was appreciated.

It feels 2 steps from heaven! - Super recommended. I took the pass that included massage, lunch and walking to the Jordan River waterfalls and everything was great. Juan, the Guide, very friendly and attentive to everyone (even those of us who were somewhat more careful with the rocks!). Delicious food and treatment from all the staff Super nice.
Ideal to come and spend the day in a natural and caring environment
