Timely pick up from the hotel, though La Quinta inn wasn’t that clean . A different, better hotel would be nice. Fred , our driver and your guide was excellent.

Tour Guide, Laura was amazing. Very knowledgeable and shared interesting details and stories. Enjoyed the entire day. Perfect tour for this “Great-Granny”. Enjoyed the breath-taking sites. Moderate walking…options to adapt to my physical limitations without denying the group in any way. Also the travel and room arrangements were excellent! Definitely recommend this tour.

My husband and I enjoyed this tour very much. Our guide Daniel was very informative and went out of his way to ensure our group had a great experience. Yosemite National Park was amazing.

We had great communication with the people at Crossroads Tours at all points in the booking and travel experience. Instructions were clear. We were well looked after. Our guide, Richard, was very knowledgeable and clearly loves his job.

Our guide Mich was very professional and knowledgeable. The tour was small and that made the experience a lot more personal.

The negatives were: 1.The organisation and communication could be much better. I was only provided with details of my train times and hotel late in the afternoon the day before the tour. It would have been useful to manage expectations by informing me of when I could expect details and confirmation of the train schedule and hotel, even if it was only to confirm that the details would be sent the day before as this could have avoided worry in my part. Instead as I was concerned by the lack of information, I had to email to enquire about this. 2. Better still it would have been helpful to receive the train and hotel with at least 3 days notice to allow me to plan. 3. Further, I had requested a particular hotel be booked as no details were provided about what hotel would be used, but this was unfortunately not actioned. 4.Despite advertising a 4k hike as part of the tour and me specifying my preference to do the hike on booking, this was not actually included in the tour which was disappointing and I was not informed of this prior to the tour. Having said that the customer service lady I dealt with to resolve issues arising at my hotel was friendly and helpful and the tour itself was excellent. My tour guide Mick was very knowledgeable and friendly and made the tour a wonderful experience. The lunch provided was also much better than expected. Overall I enjoyed the tour but there is room for improvement on the administrative side.

Everything that had to do with the Tour, from Susie picking us up to Daniel’s amazing job was great. The lunch was so good! The star gets lost over the choice of hotel the night before. There was no shuttle available (apparently) so they called a taxi. The driver they called then called his friend to do the job, giving him ZERO information about who to pick up. The result was we were forced to be in a cab with a literal junkie who nodded out on me TWICE!! All the “sorries” from the desk clerk (who didn’t seem too concerned), & the manager were completely hollow. Then to top it off, no coffee in the room, the soft drink machine was broken, and we couldn’t even get to the laundry facilities because they had put down a new tile floor and no one could walk on it. Overall the hotel was a big ZERO STARS. I’d like to give a 100% positive review but that’s just not possible. If you continue to use the Piccadilly you’re going to continue to have clients very unhappy.

There was way too much time in the van. Two hours of pickups, starting with us at 5:45 am, and not actually beginning to see yosemite till later. No drinks were provided, until much later, when we were given a "souvenir" mug to fill with spring water from yosemite. The driver took his time getting to mariposa, and then we had no time to go see the giant sequoias that we so badly wanted to see because he said there was no time....and then we were brought back to fresno for our train, a full hour before the train was scheduled to leave. When I asked about this tour, I asked if there was some hiking, and I was told yes, there is an option of a 4 mile hike. That was not true. I was with a teenage son who really wanted more hiking.
