This tour is dedicated to observing great white sharks at the surface, with the possibility of spotting other wildlife such as dolphins, porpoises, whales, and more. There is a fantastic opportunity to see great white sharks right at the surface! In the past, up to eight have been seen in a single day. Great white sharks can be present on any given day, so it is anticipated to encounter at least a few during the tour. Expect to see juvenile great white sharks ranging from 6 to 9 feet in length, with the possibility of encountering larger ones as well.
The prime season is from May to September, when the water is warmest in the shallow areas of the bay. Join for a personal experience in the summer habitat of the great white shark!
Groups are small (1 to 6 people), ensuring a quiet journey with a focus on wildlife and ample free time for exploration. The tour draws on extensive experience and expertise to educate and provide incredible experiences, led by a licensed and experienced Captain and naturalist.

We provide private and semi-private wildlife encounters, focusing on creating intimate experiences. During the excursion, the primary goal is to spot the Great White Shark, but guests often also see whales, porpoises, dolphins, seals, sea lions, sea otters, and occasionally killer whales. Once aboard the boat in Monterey, each guest enjoys one of the six comfortable seats, offering a prime view of diverse wildlife. Every day brings new experiences, ensuring a delightful time observing various wildlife. If you don’t have a group, feel free to contact us for individual trips.
- Our boat is equipped with comfortable seats with backrest but even so, if you are pregnant, have a weak back or neck, or if you don’t like going fast over the water, you should not go. If you have concerns please consider booking with one of the the large capacity vessels in Monterey bay
