Worth every penny (or cent) - Renato was our tour guide. He was so informative and had a great sense of humour. The tour was great from start to finish. I'm not sure which was my favourite bit, seeing the oldest christ the redeemer, the rum or the final stop at the top of the mountain! You stop between 20 and 30 minutes at each stop, which is enough, to be honest. We stopped for an hour and a half for lunch, which was also just enough. Would thoroughly recommend! (Infact we recommended it when we met new holiday friends who are planning on doing the tour!) Definitely go, it's well worth the money :)

Full day East Tour of Madeira - Just returned to our hotel following a stunning tour of the East of Madeira courtesy of our very engaging guide, Renato. His knowledge and passion for the island was clear. We also completed a half day tour three days ago to Nuns Valley with guide Gabriel who was equally as informative. Both destinations are amazing even with fog at the peak of East tour making it very atmospheric. Would thoroughly recommend this tour company.

A splendid day visiting the east of Madeira - A splendid day with our driver who I believe was Sergio. He was a safe, knowledgeable, polite and engaging driver. He had a remarkable knowledge of the local flora as well as interesting information about the areas we visited. He also offered amusing anecdotes that kept the people in the van smiling!

Quite good - The driver and our guide safely brought us to some interesting places of eastern Madeira. Although we didn’t visit all the places mentioned in the description (Camacho Parish Church and Fortress of Faial were missing), we did some other stops that weren’t mentioned in the description, as of example the visit to the Statue of Jesus Christ or the Rum Factory. The explanations (bilingual) of our guide were very detailed and interesting and the rests sufficient for taking photos or simply enjoying the nature. One minus point for the comfort in the minibus: the seat belts were super strong and not easy to fasten (no movement possible after closing them) and the windows were very low so that you could hardly see anything or enjoy the countryside.

Gloria is one of the best tour guides I’ve had for many years. - Gloria, our guide, made this tour. Her driving was steady and moderate and her knowledge of the island unparalleled. She conveyed her knowledge in a relatable way and ensured that we all had an excellent experience.

Nice but overpriced - We did see a few interesting sites, but because it was raining, some places were not visible. Our driver did well driving the very difficult route, but we felt that for that money we should have received more information at the sites. The trip is overpriced.
