Gain insights into Cambodia’s recent past with a visit to the Killing Fields and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Then, board a flight to Siem Reap to discover the marvellous ruins of the old Khmer empire at Angkor. Together with your private guide, explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site’s most fascinating sections like Angkor Wat, a massive temple city designed as a stone replica of the Hindu universe; Angkor Thom, an ancient capital home to iconic spots such as the Bayon; and Ta Prohm, a temple slowly being consumed by the jungle. Further, visit Banteay Srei, a miniature temple renowned for its intricate carvings made in pink sandstone, and two more distant temples – Beng Mealea and Koh Ker.
