To do, exceptional! - Awesome to see. Excursion easy to do, even with children, allowing an immersion in a village on stilts.

Really interesting tour - This was a really interesting tour. How little these people have but yet how happy they are. I had a great driver and tour guide.

Not to be missed - It is an experience not to be missed. All elements of this adventure were excellent: the rlarge boat river excursion allowed my partner and I to get an overview of the village; the guided walk provided opportunity to see the challenges villagers face along with their ingenuity in meeting those demands.; the small boat 🚤 tour of the mangroves was lovely and made joyful by the personality of our ‘small boat captain’. Finally much praise must be given to our knowledgeable and engaging guide who made this experience more than outstanding. Thank you.

A must see with Hello Birs - Highly recommend Hello bird tours. We booked through Mad Monkey hostel. They gave us a free water and took care of transport to and from our hostel, which made the tour so easy and enjoyable. The floating village is a must see for the culture and the sunset - you can also swim if you’d like on the lake. We also took the $5 USD canoe tour through the mangroves which was an add on but is worth it, especially knowing that it funds the village. This tour was genuinely THE highlight of my trip to Cambodia. Special thanks to Nan who took care of us and gave us an excellent tour in English. We learnt so much thanks to him and he was always willing to answer our questions.

Loved Siem Reap - Amazing place to see and people very friendly, food is amazing and a visit to the restaurant helping street kids was great, definitely recommend going. lots of people for sunrise at Angkor Wat but we felt it was unnecessary to set off for there so early, 8 am was a better start time. Floating village was a disappointment and expensive, we went as we thought we would be missing out but all of us agree we wouldn't recommend(5 of us), so glad we started our tour here to see the difference between old and new cities.

Avoid this tour. Just a waste of money - We were around 50 people in the group. The guide talked to the people at the back of the bus. No mic so I couldn’t hear anything being seated in the front. We waited like 30 minutes in the bus. It was so crowded at the ticket booth. The guide then came and told those who wanted to go to the rest rooms to go. They had 5 minutes and could buy souvenirs at the same time. We boarded a boat with no life vests. It was traffic jam on the muddy river. Then, we stopped and walked through the village. The guide only talked to those near him. We, then, took the boat again to go to another jammed pier to buy a $5,5 ticket to get on a small boat and go between trees, in the mangrove. A 20 minutes ride that takes you to another pier which is in fact a bar/restaurant to wait for the sunset. Then we returned. If you can avoid this money money business.

Bittersweet experience. - We liked the ferry part. Once we had done it, they left us at a place where they made us pay 11 dollars in addition to the price of the excursion, to get on a boat for 5 minutes, which was super crowded. They told us that we would see the sunset in the middle of the lake and we had to see it on the ferry parked in the place and nobody gave us an explanation, then they did take us in the middle of the lake but the sun had already set. We were disappointed since it was something that we were excited to do since it was the last day in Cambodia.
