- Beng Mealea - Beng Mealea is about 60km away from Siem Reap. It’s takes about an hour and a half to driver there. Because of the location of the temple, it isn’t as busy as the other temples at Angkor Wat. This is one of the reasons why we love visiting Beng Mealea, because you’re not surrounded by thousands of other tourists. The surrounding thick forest also makes it a unique place to visit.
