A costly, but worthwhile trip to see lesser-known huge Khmer monuments - The tour was good, the guide Narath was very social, friendly and shared a lot of stories about the experiences of the local population. The trip takes 12 hours and is definitely long, but you get to see temples away from the crowds. Preah Vihear has great views as it is on top of a hill, while Koh Ker is a seven-tiered pyramid ( if I remember correctly, the tallest in Southeast Asia). The price is not cheap, so it is definitely better if you can get more people to split the cost of the ride.

Memorable trip to Preah Vihear and Koh Ker - We had a memorable tour. The guide and driver arrived at hotel lobby on time at 8 am. It was a private tour in air-conditioned SUV having ample chilled water bottles which was a relief on a sweltering day and long journey. It took us 3 hours to reach Preah Vihear ticket counter. Another 4x4 jeep took us up the steep mountain road. Our guide walked us through the path up to the main temple past the 3 gates. The beauty of the place is breathtaking. After a quick snack, we went to Koh Ker. The pyramid temple was stunning. The brick gates were beautifully sculptured. We visited another temple with an intact Shivlinga. We were able to self pace our tour considering the hot day and total 11.5 hours duration . Our guide was with us very step with detailed historical knowledge of every nook and corner. We are thankful to our guide Mr. Tola and driver Mr. Yang for a wonderful day. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend tour and Sopheap and Mr Sokheng - Highly recommend this tour! It is worth the time and money to explore lesser seen temples. Our guide Sopheap Rath is incredible! He provided excellent knowledge and is a great story teller. He really went out of his way to look after us! This included packing breakfast because of the early start, buying us fresh fruit, getting us ice cream in the middle of a hot tour. He was also good to take photos as we walked. Best guided tour I have had. Our driver Mr.Sokheng was excellent and took such good care of us.

Preah Vihear & Koh Ker Tour! - Phyrom was fantastic and looked after us all the time. The van was nice and the driver was cautious. I appreciated all the cultural explanations through the Tour. On the other hand, the Temples need restauration, specially if they charge the entrance fee in American Dollars. 5 Stars to the Tour Operation but 3 Stars to the experience itself.

Fantastic - 非常棒的旅行,很难忘,参观了柏威夏寺和贡开遗址,全程导游Dara Try和司机都非常棒,导游的拍照技术堪比专业摄影师,给我拍了很多非常酷的照片。 It was a great trip and unforgettable. The tour guide Dara Try and the driver are very good. The tour guide's photography skills were comparable to a professional photographer, and he took a lot of very cool photos for me.

See the Splendor of the Khmer Empire - Our trip began in Siem Reap at 0730 where we were introduced to our driver, La, and our guide, Chanda. After a trip of just over 3 hours, we arrived at the Preah Vihear parking lot at about 1045. We were transported to the temple site via a short pickup truck ride up the mountain. Preah Vihear was amazing! A true jewel of ancient engineering, artistry and a stunning monument to the ancient Khmer people's understanding of the universe. Our guide, Chanda, is a veritable encyclopedia, with an intimate understanding of ancient Khmer civilization, temples and religion. He has an detailed knowledge of Preah Vihear, and pointed out many features that would otherwise have gone unnoticed and added valuable context to the temple's story. After a thorough tour (about 3 hours), we proceeded to Koh Ker, arriving around 1445. We enjoyed a hot lunch and were again treated to a detailed tour of Prasat Thom. We enjoyed it very much, as we did Preah Vihear. The highlight was climbing to the summit of the pyramid and the opportunity for photographing the sunset at Prasat Pram. La was a skillful driver, always made us feel safe, and always ready for us with cold water, cold towelettes and an air conditioned vehicle. Chanda surprised us at the end by sharing with us the photographs he had taken throughout the tour. Altogether, a splendid tour that I would highly recommend. And if you do go, consider requesting La and Chanda as your driver and guide. It will be like a day trip with old friends.

If you only have one day in Cambodia this is a must do - Narath our guide, and Chhenling, our driver collected us from our hotel and we set off on the most magical journey to view temples sitting on top of the world. We were grateful to Narath for his knowledge of Cambodia’s history, his quiet and respectful nature during the entire day made us feel so welcome. We will carry memories of this beautiful journey with and will share this day with our family and friends , thank you
