Great time! - Seila was an amazing guide! The elephant tour was so fun, we got to feed them and help bathe them. Then we took a boat ride out to the lake and ate dinner at one of the floating restaurants. 10/10 will be recommending to anyone who comes to Siem Reap!

Great tour. Great guide - I've given it 5 stars because of Dara my guide, Kel my driver and the elephant sanctuary experience although the day didn't start well. I had booked a morning tour with what I thought was other people but Dara arrived and it turns out I would be on my own and wouldn't see the elephants until the afternoon which is not what I had booked. Having said that, Dara was an excellent guide, very friendly and knowledgeable and always ready to answer any questions.
The river tour was good, it was nice to be out in the open and see all the houses and how people live.
The elephant sanctuary was amazing. I joined another small tour there. The guide was great and informative. We got to make sweet treats for the elephants then walked down to meet them. It was great fun feeding them and they're lovely. We walked through the jungle with them and stopped at a lake where they all had a bath to cool down. Back to the main area where we had snacks, fruit and water then got a chance to hose the elephants down with clean water. All through the tour Dara was happy to take lots of photos for me. I am very happy that I had such a great guide.

What an amazing day!! - Far more time than expected with the elephants. Walking around with them for nearly 2 hours was an amazing experience. One of the best experiences I’ve had on any trip or vacation. The 2nd part of the trip was not as expected. Most pics of the “floating village” are in the rainy season. Dry season is a completely different experience. Usually not as expected with a paid trip is a negative. Not this time. Sometimes the unexpected can be better than the expected. It was a great day with a VERY knowledgable guide. Would absolutely do this excursion again.

Must do experience - Amazing experience to feed and walk with the elephants through the forest. Lucky enough to see one elephant play the water. Small groups of about 15 people was great. Lunch was plentiful and the guide was friendly and knowledgeable.

A really great tour - Tom was our guide and was an excellent one. We got to make the sticky rice treat balls for the elephants first and then were taken to meet 4 of them. I was concerned it would just be feeding them a few bananas and a quick photo, but we got a good bit of time walking with them, seeing them forage for food and go into the water. It’s a very worthwhile trip. Also these elephants who were with us, then get a day off the next day with no interaction with tourists, which seems a sensible idea, alleviating any stress for the animals and allowing them to be free and wander as they should. We were also served a delicious lunch before we left.

Absolutely Brilliant! - Great value for money! Brilliant experience. Our tour guide Satya was amazing. Shared a lot of knowledge about his country and took a heap of photos for us with the elephants which he shared.
You get really close to the elephants, feed them and pat them. The tour includes an easy walk through the forest and see them roam free.
Lunch was delicious and plentiful.
Highly recommend this tour. It was one of the best we have done

Overpriced. Forced shopping at the end. - First things first: If you just want to visit the Kulen Elephant Forest then book directly on their website. It costs $100 including lunch and transport to and from Siem Reap.
The organisers of this tour will rightly point out that it includes more than just that. You get:
- Pickup from your hotel
- Private driver and guide
- Air Conditioned vehicle
- Cold drinking water
- After visiting the elephants, trip to Kampong Phluk Floating Village with boat ticket included
- Drop off back at your hotel
So, worth paying a bit extra for? Yes, maybe, but I didn’t feel like it was great value. It was both the shortest and most expensive day I had during my time in Siem Reap. I’m not sure a guide is really needed either - you’re with the Elephant Camp’s own guides whilst at the Forest and outside of that, there is limited information to impart (mostly general stuff about Cambodia). The company should offer this with driver only to make the pricing a bit better.
I would still have given four stars despite the pricing, if it weren’t for what happened at the end, but the good bits first…
Feeding and walking with the elephants is a wonderful experience and something that you absolutely should make time for in Siem Reap. You can make elephant food, meet them, feed them, and follow them on their exercise walk. This is followed by a nice lunch.
The trip to the floating village was also very interesting (though I didn’t care for the crocodile farm). The guide and I had a boat to ourselves (with the boat driver) and got a good view of everything.
The guide was also friendly and the driver drove safely and skilfully over some difficult roads.
What knocks it down to three stars is this:
On the way back to the hotel, I was given a sob story about how the guide’s daughter likes books but he struggles to buy them. I was asked if I wouldn’t mind visiting an “art gallery” for 10 minutes so that he could get a lucky draw ticket to try to win a book…
I should have known better and refused, but I thought “hey, I can give 10 minutes of my time to help an honest working man out…”
Big mistake. It was no “art gallery”. It was the Cambodian Cottage Industries place across from my hotel.
Despite making it clear that I wasn’t interested in buying anything, I was chased around the place by a salesman for the whole time I was in there. High-pressure tactics were used (including going on about how money goes to orphans, etc.) and even shouted after for a donation after practically running out the door.
So, that really left me feeling quite upset and angry after what had been a nice (if slightly overpriced) day out. You don’t expect that sort of thing when you’ve paid so much for a tour (not that I like it on cheaper tours - I usually refuse to go into such places)
No doubt, the guide gets a cut of any sales and that’s why he tries to get people in there.
So, sadly, cannot recommend this.

No photos available of day’s experience. - I am very disappointed that I was not able to get the photographs that the Tour Guide took of me and the elephants.
