Amazing sunset view and delicious food on an anchored boat - It was a beautiful, warm, clear day and so the view of the sunset was spectacular. We started by taking a boat to an alligator farm where they offer snacks for sale as well as alligator products like belts, wallets, and purses. Then they take you to the sunset boat where there’s an open bar, good music, and delicious food. Just a heads up, the sunset boat doesn’t go anywhere you just go to the boat and it stays anchored. But it’s located so that the view is great.

Definitely a tour worth your time and money. - Fantastic tour. You get taken by mini van from your hotel to the dock, then by small boat to see a floating village and stop to see crocodiles, then continue out to the moored river boat to have dinner and watch the sunset. Astonishingly we were the only people on the boat and we were surprised they still ran the tour . Everyone was attentive and it was great, food was good and very well priced.

Wonderful experience on the Tonl Sap River. - This was the second time I booked the "Queen Tara" Sunset Dinner and Tonl Sap River Cruise. The first time, in 2018, was with a large group and inattentive guide. This time was during the off season, and we unexpectedly had a private tour. Our guide this time, Tino, was wonderfully engaged and he has never failed to thrill and impress me. His depth of knowledge of the facts regarding the river mechanics and engineering and the village culture on the river was amazing. He made the afternoon and evening interesting and exciting, and much too short of an experience. I have traveled to over 60 countries and I can honestly say that Tino is truly a world-class guide that makes touring Cambodia an adventure worth repeating.

Fun evening on a sunset cruise despite the clouds moving in - My husband and I had a great evening on our Sunset Dinner and Drinks cruise! Our tour guide Leng Vanna was great! He picked us up at our hotel and took us to a lotus farm and crocodile farm before making our way to see the floating villages and to our sunset cruise. Even though the clouds moved in and we could not see the sunset the setting and staff were great! I highly recommend this sunset cruise with dinner, free flow drinks and tour of the floating villages!

Really Good Tour & Dinner - Really good tour. Our guide, Hong, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The floating village was quite interesting, as was the crocodile farm. The buffet and unlimited drinks on the floating restaurant were great! And it was a beautiful place to enjoy the sunset. We also made a new friend!

Just satisfactory - Food and drinks could have been more varied and portios are somewhat smaller than in restaurants used in other tours

Tara sunset cruise not as advertised - This cruise was not as advertised. Pick up from hotel was fine. We travelled by mini bus to floating villages where we viewed them from land. We then continued on to the Port where the guide fave us a good explanation of the lake and its ecosystems. We hopped on a small boat and passed by more floating villages before arriving at the Tara River boat. This is where the tour took a turn for the worse. The only way I can describe it is that the boat was marooned in amongst mangroves and not out on the lake as expected. The sun had already set by the time we arrived, so we were told about the buffet (which was OK but all the food had gone cold), and sat down to have dinner amongst the mangroves. I don't know why the boat wasn't out on the lake, because as you can see from one of my photos, there were other large vessels on the lake enjoying great views. I would give this tour an average rating at best.

Run down, creepy and pricey - Do the Apsara shows for $18pp instead; they are cheaper, cleaner and a much better spread. It creeped me out when the tour guide wiped down glasses with little tissues in front of me before the bartender made my drink. The tour in the dingy boat to the Tara was interesting, just don't recommend the sunset buffet at $38. Small selection was less than the 17 items listed(by half) and did not seem to match the menu. Dessert was fruit. Based on the flyer I really thought we'd be riding around in the Queen Tara; instead it is sitting on the lake bed. (It's not a river boat and it does not cruise.) It rocked back and forth on the mud from the wind; and the boat floor is curved. Not recommended for folks who don't have balance or can't go up and down steep inclines. Tour company should make these things clear on the flyer. The guide was great, though. And we were asked for tips when no cost extra was indicated on the flyer. Makes you feel embarrassed if you come with the exact change for the tour.... Sorry, but I did not feel I got my money's worth.....Could use some music to make it less of a ghost ship.....

Not a memorable experience expected. - Not a cruise just a transfer to a floating restaurant where the food was very poor. Not a great experience.
