• Lexington Visitors Center - Managed by the Town of Lexington, the center features a battle diorama and other exhibits illustrating the events of April 19, 1775, when 77 Minutemen confronted 700 Redcoats, igniting the American Revolution. New for 2025: Explore the new Town of Lexington history museum, opening in time for America’s 250th Birthday, a two-year celebration.
• Battle Road Trail - Fully renovated for 2025, this five-mile trail links historic sites from Meriam’s Corner in Concord to the eastern edge of the park in Lexington. Much of the trail follows the original Battle Road, where Colonial Militia and British Regulars clashed on April 19, 1775. In some sections, the trail diverges from the historic road to follow the Minute Men’s route, passing through fields, wetlands, and forests. Homes and taverns have been restored, and the Battle Road landscaped, in preparation for the 250th Anniversary of America’s founding for the 2025 season.
• Louisa May Alcott’s Orchard House - Visit the home of “Little Women” author Louisa May Alcott.
