Revolutionary Tour! - My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the excursion to Concord and Lexington. The tour group was small and the guide , “Coach”, was nice, knowledgeable, and funny. Lots seen on the way to/from as well. Highly recommended.

Fantastic guide. Know before you go: mostly outdoor; most indoor sites closed. - This gets a 5 because of Coach, who did an outstanding job of making this a fun, engaging, and active experience. I think Lexington and Concord actually dealt him a very bad hand, as none of the historic homes were open or appeared to be staffed. Despite the fact that we really couldn’t go into any of the indoor sites, he managed to give a rich sense of the historical significance of the sites and a vivid portrayal of the battles, the principal figures involved, and their historical context. I think people booking this experience really need to consider that you will mostly be outside looking at a monument or an exterior of a house, or in the van, for virtually the entire tour except for rest stops and lunch. If you know that in advance, that will help avoid any frustration with the tour.

Fun and informative tour! - Richard's a great tour guide and had a lot of fun stories. I did the tour with one other person and we were coincidentally the only people on the tour, so he was really flexible with us with what time we'd get lunch, wanting to see specific places not on the agenda, etc. I'm guessing this won't be the case if there are multiple groups since you can't please everybody, will probably stick close to the agenda. But it's still really interesting to see the historic sites, he's a wealth of knowledge and also gives random information on things like when we passed a ritzy part of town, this is where Tom Brady used to live, etc.

Well balanced historical account - Coach (our guide) brought the story to lure and shared details along the entire trail from Boston to Concord. The story was well told and explained both the English and Colonist side very well and evenly. Truly a delight!

Filled with history - Liked the recounting of the Lexington battle. Captain, our tour guide, was personable and knowledgeable. While driving, if there was no history in the area, he filled in with other interesting facts about the area. The only thing missing was being able to actually go inside some of the open exhibits/houses etc. Loved the small group as we could go where buses cannot

Great tour guide for Lexington and Concord - For us this was the best option to see and learn more about Lexington and Concord. We stayed in Dorchester so we had to find our way to one of the three meeting points in downtown Boston, but this wasn't a deal breaker as getting around on public transportation was easy. Richard was right on time to pick us up. His instructions to us beforehand were great. He let us know where to meet and what was in that area including a place inside to wait and places to eat in the area if we needed that. This was helpful. Once in the van he started giving us information about everything we were seeing. At this time we were just on the way to pick up another passenger. We ended up with 13 total in the tour which is another thing we like as it is a smaller group. Richard gave us information as we went. Not just about the Revolutionary War but about Boston history overall. This was a plus too. Learning about buildings, neighborhoods and the culture made this experience way better for us. As we made our way Richard talked about everything we were seeing. He answered the many questions well. He stopped in a couple of places that the big tour busses would just pass by as they were too big to get into. As it was raining he tried to get as close as possible to the stops. The overall tour was great. Having Richard as guide made it even better. Our biggest plus was again the information that Richard gave us about everything we drove past, not just Lexington and Concord! We will recommend this tour to anyone who asks.
