A great informative education. - Leese was our guide for the tour. She was knowledgeable and personable. Was able to give us a broad history of the city and added specific details of the highlighted spots we visited. Also amused us with ghost stories and a few pub recommendations.

Exploitation of alumni! - We loved every second of the tour and our walking tour guide, Lise, was exceptional. We were however appalled to find her only income for her informative 90 minute talk was from gratuities! We felt this was exploitation at its worst.

Emily is Excellent - Emily was a knowledgeable and dynamic guide, even sporting her college jacket. Emily took time to learn a little bit about each of us and shared in open discourse.

Easy and informative - Evelyn was a good host for our walking tour and the tour was informative. The tour was neatly tied with the Punting tour as well. James was our Punting tour guide and he was great too. This tour was an easy way to learn about Cambridge, walk around and see places and then relax on the Punting tour.

Highly recommend tour with Alumna Tea - Tour with Tea Was a great tour with interesting insights, Tea was very professional and excellent in guiding the tour. She offered a mix of interesting facts, stories (even about lies, myths) and was ready to answer any question about the life at College and in Cambridge.

Beautiful University - We were lucky enough to basically get a "private" tour as I guess no one else signed up for our time slot. We had Craig from Inverness who was very kind and knowledgeable of the Christian history of the colleges. The tour was beautiful and timed well. As someone who works in universities in the US it would be nice if the tour guides had some basic knowledge of the funding model (how the university is funded) as well as some basic demographics. Also some funny, anecdotal stories or fun facts about movies that have been shot there would be a good way to engage with the people on the tour.

Good but not great. - I have taken this tour twice. My first experience was so outstanding. I wanted to take my family on it while we were all in Cambridge together. The first tour Director kept us in the town area, but the second took us on a long walk behind Kings College and Trinity College on a dirt path. This was a lot of time spent out of the city on a long walk behind Kings College on an uneven dirt path. A waste of much needed time to take us around the city and see the magnificent colleges that exist in the beautiful older buildings within the city. We came to see the city. She talked extensively about the application progress to Cambridge University, and it was very interesting to hear details about the different colleges, but none of us have any interest in the extensively detailed application process. She relayed details of student life while attending Cambridge, but no mention of the “best boy” apartment in the center of town where the best student academically was given the room with the large center window and the competition to that privilege was in the extreme. And we didn’t go to Trinity College to see the courtyard where the movie Chariots of Fire was filmed. We wanted to see the city, to learn history, and to learn more about the university and have important buildings pointed out to us. Going into Kings College was wonderful and the punting was a delightful way to end our day. I also wish she had explained the signage used to explain the trade performed, like the cobbler's sign on one of the streets we walked along, but she made no mention of it. A little disappointed that we were not shown more about the interior of the city.

Need a more energetic tour guide!!! - Tour guide, Craig, speaks very softly and hard to hear him talking. He constantly reminded people not to disturb local students as they study in the libraries. He lacks of enthusiasm to show people of the behind the scene history of Cambridge University. I learned more from the punting tour guide.

Disappointing experience... - We were very disappointed by the info provided during our tour with Craig. We became very knowledgeable about the Corpus christi college but little else. Do not book with him if you cant hear well because he speaks very quietly to not disturb students to the point where you cant hear even if you are next to him. It is too expensive for the experience provided.
