A walk through history - A really informative and entertaining tour, guided by Michael, who was amazing! He answered all our questions attentively, and was well-versed in uni life, given his recent Masters graduation at Cambridge. Incredibly polite, funny and helped make the time whizz by. Learned so much through this tour.

Fun tour in Cambridge - Cambridge was beautiful! Walking tour with Evelyn was definitely a highlight—we really enjoyed the historical facts, fun stories, and her firsthand accounts of life as a student. Punting with Hussain was also very fun—he was entertaining and skillfully maneuvered around the struggling self-punting groups.

Informative - Gabriel, our walking tour host was very informative. Unfortunately he did not tell us we needed to be at the punt boats right at the time he told us. We arrived a few minutes late and they almost did not let us on the punt boat.

Mixed review, both good and not so good - The guide for the walking tour was good, if not a bit biased in pointing out differences between Oxford and Cambridge. He knew a lot, and was good at describing the history of the sights we saw. There was an abundance of name-dropping that might be curtailed a bit. Would like to have seen inside a college more; King's College Chapel was amazing, but not really worth the additional cost. Our punting experience was ridiculous. The guide was great, both in imparting info and in his impressive skill and tolerance of idiots as he navigated a tiny river teeming with punts. The idyllic image of punting on the Cam was nowhere to be found. I do think the punt companies should limit the number of vessels on the river at once.
