The best experience! - If you go to visit Cambridge, you must do this! Try & get Anton as your guide! He was exceptionally good. We had 3 teenagers with us, all of which interacted with Anton, asking questions which were all answered with knowledge & humour. Besides admiring the most stunning buildings we’ve ever seen, we were relaxed and laughing the whole time. We took many photos & learnt a lot. It was the best experience. Thank you Anton!

Great service despite booking issue - The punt was lovely and Scudamores were very professional despite the fact that the booking on trip advisor had not been forwarded to them!! Had the ticket and proof of purchase but nothing had come though to them!!

Essential to have a full visit to Cambridge. - We doubted whether to take this boat trip or not. In the end we decided to do it after hiring her at the tourist office, where we hired the fantastic Manuel Guide for a wonderful tour of Cambridge. This was the golden clasp. The views from the boat are unmatched, the explanations of Tom (our wonderful Guide and Condictor of punt) were excellent, with touches of humor that made the experience very fun. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience! - We had an amazing punting trip last weekend with family and friends. Although we arrived late at the spot, we were accommodated at a time slot, which was later than originally booked. Vicky was absolutely amazing and is a star. Friendly, witty and full of energy!

AMAZING - Emma is a true story teller and we absolutely loved it! We also did a walking tour but the view from the punting tour is a must. It gives you a closer look.

Punt experience - My partner and I went on a punt with Tommy. It was a shared punt and we had a full bench for 2. It was a beautiful day and the Cam looked wonderful. Tommy had 4 nationalities on the punt and included everyone even throwing in words of Chinese. The tour was informative as we passed the backs of the university colleges. We recommend this tour but earlier.in the day is preferable as it became busy as we left. Thank you and well done Tommy YNWA !

No regrets taking a punt - Absolutely fantastic experience on a private tour, from the flexibility on the departure time to the polite and friendly staff. Our guide, Ben, was very knowledgeable and easy to chat with. It was like having another member of the group on the boat! We learnt something new about the colleges, and left feeling more connected to Cambridge as a result. In July you won't get the river to yourselves, but that's actually part of the bonus entertainment (we passed a tourist who'd gone overboard in search of their phone!).

Punting in Cambridge - I am a Tour Manager and took a group of 23 American Violinists who were in the UK for a week to play violin recitals in Ely, Norwich and Bath as well as taking in some English sites on the way. The tour company booked an afternoons punting on the river in Cambridge with the Scudamore Company. I must admit I had not been to Cambridge with a tour for over 10 years and was horrified at the carnage on the river during what should have been a peaceful punt learning about the amazing architecture and histories of the colleges. Instead we got pushed, banged and knocked around by the idiots who had taken out self drive punts!!! Why & how is this allowed in todays mambi pambi state that we live in today - what about health & safety that the whole country seems to be paranoid about !!!! There were punts everywhere on the river sliding into each other not to mention the drunkards who insisted on being the punter! It was awful and certainly not the pleasurable experience I had remembered 10 years ago. I have no complaints about Scudamores - our guide was lovely and very knowledgable but the actual experience was not at all pleasant- even our guide and punter was not impressed by the carnage on the river that day !!!!
