Great experience - Sam was a very knowledgeable and passionate guide tour. We had a great experience with this punting tour. Blankets were provided to avoid being wet from the rain. One of our favorite activity in Cambridge !

Absolutely briliiant! - When I came out of the Cambridge station I walked straight into a young man at a kiosk selling punting tour tickets. Though I wanted to do a punting tour while in Cambridge, I was not certain that it was the best way to see the colleges, but I bought a ticket and boy am I glad I did! It was a long walk to the river, but what followed was totally worth it. Luckily for us, it was a cloudy day and there weren't too many tourists, so we had the boat to ourselves. Arun was a fantastic chauffeur and guide. We throughly enjoyed his jokes and the the information about the city and the university he shared with us. I highly recommend this experience if ever you find yourself in Cambridge.

Birthday punting - Been to Cambridge numerous times and always wanted to go punting. So was delighted to be taken for part of my birthday celebrations. Arthur our guide was great. Interacting with all of us and providing us with a wonderful historical oversight of the river Cam and its surroundings. Would highly recommend.

Go early on a Sunday morning for the best experience - We booked a Sunday morning at 9:45. What a result! Yesterday afternoon the river Cam was looking like Piccadilly Circus (with boats flying in all directions and some private hires who had clearly never punted before nearly colliding and capsizing) but it appears no-one gets up early in Cambridge. The river was almost empty, only had to share the boat with one other couple and to cap it all it's actually cheaper to go early in the morning! Our punter (for want of a better word) was friendly, happy and informative. I was impressed with the service and thought that £20 per person was excellent value for money. Would highly recommend this company.

A professional and unforgettable punting tour with Lets Go Punting - As soon as we arrived in Cambridge, we noticed several punting companies, but we decided to go with Let's Go Punting. Punting in Cambridge is an experience you absolutely must try. A professional guide not only ensures a safe journey on the busy river, especially during the summer, but also shares fascinating information and fun facts about the University. Our guide, Daniel HP, made our 45-minute ride truly unforgettable. His extensive knowledge of Cambridge's history and the University was remarkable. Daniel shared intriguing stories about the colleges, the architecture, and the famous alumni, bringing the city’s rich heritage to life. He also had a deep understanding of the local culture and traditions, which added an extra layer of insight to the tour. In addition to his knowledge, Daniel's punting skills were exceptional. Navigating the often-crowded river with ease, he made the experience feel effortless and relaxing. His friendly and engaging manner made the tour even more enjoyable. If you visit Cambridge, we highly recommend taking a punting tour with Let's Go Punting. They are professional and guarantee a cheerful, memorable experience.

A great experience punting! - After spending several days in the craziness of London, a day in Cambridge was a welcome respite from the noise and chaos. Our Punter Alex L was very knowledgeable about the sites along the river and made the whole experience very enjoyable. We had a shared boat which was perfectly fine. I did see a comment from someone who said to try to go early as the river gets fairly busy in the afternoon and I think this is true as the river was fairly busy for our 2:00 pm tour. However, this did not lessen the enjoyment for us and the Punters try to keep a good distance from the other boats. This tour was the highlight of our day in Cambridge and I would highly recommend it. Lastly, rates seemed to be very negotiable so you can probably find a boat to fit your budget accordingly.

Fun activity - Bucketlist activity ticked off the list, really enjoyed our punt today! Was good historical commentary, we saw things we wouldnt of seen on foot. Would do it again, might get a private one next time! Only downside was the waiting to get on, was quite chaotic waiting in the small space.
