Cambridge Treasure Hunt - Highly Recommended - I honestly can't praise our experience highly enough. The process was really straight forward, the clues were a good mix of difficulty, and as you go through the hunt you learn a lot about the location you are in. To top it off, it was the hottest day of the year, and we walked about 5km, with ice cream and beer along the way. Oh, and my team won :-) So to summarise, great event, amazing value for money, myself and my colleagues highly recommend.

Fun exploration - We had a lot of fun with this treasure hunt. Some of the clues required a bit of knowledge rather than just looking around the city, but it was still a great way to see the city. It encourages you to look up and notice things you might ordinarily just walk past. The little snippets of history included as well was a great addition.

Highly enjoyable treasure hunt - our third city - My wife and I have now done the treasure hunts in Oxford, Bath and Cambridge, with the latter two being with our parents. The fact that we have now done multiple cities should indicate how much we have enjoyed them! The Treasure Hunts are fun, easy to use via the WhatsApp style page, and provide a great insight into the city. You will get to see all the main sights, as well as some 'off the beaten track' gems. For instance, in Cambridge, we would have completely walked past the 'wonder emporium' had it not been a clue. The trails also contain some great recommendations on places for eating/drinking and the map and captain's log sent by email at the end of the hunt is also a nice. We would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Cambridge and we will be sure to try other cities in the future.

Great fun … and informative - A great way to see the parts of Cambridge you wouldn’t necessarily stumble upon. Second time doing this tour but still enjoyable :)

A fun way to tour Cambridge - A great way to see the sights of Cambridge. Interesting and fun experience and the ability to go at your own pace. Learn a little history about the wonderful buildings around the city with opportunities to stop for a drink.

Great exercise for the brain and the body! - Four middle aged old school mates were looking for a fun activity to do in Cambridge, a central place for us all to meet. We settled on a treasure hunt - and it was great. Yes, the weather was shocking (this is the UK after all) but it goes our brains and bodies going. Definitely ok for young kids up to the older generation, we were walking for no more than about two hours. There were some great recommendations on the way for cafes or eating places which I thought was a genius touch. Also, as a total history nerd I loved the fascinating historical facts you got in each location. I'd definitely do another one, great stuff!

Stopped working during the session. - I enjoyed the clues, which were quite clever, though some of them were quite tricky even for those familiar with Cambridge. For example the clue about the disc with 4 arrows and not using your feet. I learned something new, though there could have been more information about the amazing history and people of Cambridge. The system stopped working during the session. I think we were near the end and we were in an area of tall buildings near Kings College. Tried for up to an hour to reconnect. I had followed the instructions and also moved out of the area with tall buildings, so I guess its a glitch in the system. Its not really a treasure hunt- more of a walking quiz- unless we missed some treasure by not finishing? The sea-faring theme is a bit incongruous with Cambridge which is about as inland as possible. I was testing this for a work event but sadly I would say that I can't recommend it on the basis of it not working.

Disappointed - We organised to do this today for Father’s Day. We found the first clues hard and didn’t make it past clue 4 (still don’t understand one after having received the answer!!) Think it should be made clearer that this is not for children - even pre-teens - especially with no knowledge of Cambridge. An easier/more child friendly version would be great!

Not a family activity!! - First clues very difficult despite hints. Our family & tweens started with lots of enthusiasm but didn’t make it past clue 3.
