A beautiful, all-round successful tour - The trip with Osama was great, he really knows the history of ancient Egypt and passes on his knowledge with enthusiasm. I really liked the fact that he didn't stick stubbornly to the program and still had another variant. From the pyramids to the tombs to lunch, it was an all-round successful tour. Also the driver was very nice and helpful. 👍👍👍

Great tour of the Saqqara area inc entry into 2 pyramids. - Basem escorted us to Saqqara where we visited the Djoser stepped pyramid. The entrance hall is spectacular with perfect block work from the 6th dynasty, 2350 BC! The pyramid is one of the oldest ever built. We then visited the funeray pyramid of King Unas, where you can go inside. This is one of the few pyramids with hieroglyphic inscriptions on the walls. There is still paint on the inscriptions in many places. Basem then took us to the tomb of Princess Idut where many fine inscriptions of daily life are carved. we finished off by visiting the Serapeum where the scared bulls were buried (24 found so far). There is a long underground tunnel with each bull buried in a separate alcove on sarcophagus weighing up to 70 tons in weight carved from single blocks of black granite. How did these blocks ever get cut and moved here from Aswan? Amazing. We then visited and entered the pyramid of King Teti. another pyramid with carvings visible on the walls. Then came the tombs of Mera and Mereruka where more carvings showing daily life and the solar boats used are visible. Lunch was taken back in Giza at the Saheb Sahbo restaraunt where we had Egypts national dish of Koshary. A delicious meal of fried bread with a hot chilli dips and a milder delicious tomato and garlic dip, followed by the main course which consists of a bowl of pasta, lentils, chickpeas with a tomato sauce. Basem was a very good guide and answered all our questions and explained many aspects of ancient Egyptian life along with the carvings on the temple walls. I can definitely recommend this tour. It is very interesting and you get to see a lot!

Saqqara - Saqqara is gorgeous archeological site not far from Giza. Our guide Mario, was excellent and answered all our questions. A negative aspect, we reserve tour starting at 8 am, but the night before the guide messaged to start at 9 am, at the end we did not see the museum. At 1.30 pm we ‘ ll be back in Giza, the tour didn’t last 5-6 Hours as indicated by viator. Without this inefficency i would have given a better score.
