Dreamlike tour - Our tour was led by Alex and Zoe. Everything was wonderful. Arriving at the Grizzly Bears area we were met by two other guides (Calvin and Michael). We could see a grizzly bear eating salmon. The two guides have organized the tour really nicely and you noticed that they are very proud of working with the Grizzlies :) After the bear tour we drove towards the harbour. On the way there we could see 5 orcas in one place. The two guides (Alex and Zoe) took the time so that we could examine the orcas in detail. After that we continued towards the harbour. Along the way, the guides were able to spot a humpback whale. Although the tour had been going on longer than planned, they also showed us the whale. After that, they wanted to make their way back for good. However, a meeting with orcas took place again. Although both had already finished work long after, they still took the time to show us the orcas. Respect to the two who would have been with us until 18:45 instead of 17:30 and really enjoyed their work. It was a really wonderful trip and our expectations were exceeded.

Great Day, Great People - Our first nations guides and drivers provided an experience closely aligned with our values regarding land management, care for wildlife and safe travel. Our contribution to sequestering carbon was a positive event, shared by our boat guide and an initiative we wish all participants could have heard. We appreciated our guides’ positive post-trip summaries. At the end of a long (and wet) work day both shared the day’s adventures with us, a gentle reminder that travel experiences have far less to with weather, and more to do with meeting and supporting those who have a shared vision. Our driver and guide delivered a positive energy that was so necessary when weather impacts can’t be controlled. Our safety, onboard and off, was always a focus. We went with open minds and we were rewarded in so many ways.

Brilliant day out - take warm clothing - This is our second trip with these guys. Absolutely brilliant day with Alex and Lexie to Orford. On the way we saw humpback and killer whales. At Orford we saw 8 bears (down on the 17 we saw 5 years ago but still amazing) including some very close swimming and looking for salmon. On the way back we saw killers and dolphins which we stopped to observe. We were late back but who cares when you see so many beautiful creatures.
At this time of year it can be cold so take warm clothing.

Could not have asked for more. - This was an excellent tour. On the transit to and from the viewing area, the boat captain Alex and Lexi, the guide, were able to show us a pod of humped back whales, three separate pods of Orcas, a pod of over a hundred Pacific white-sided dolphins, and sea lions. While at the viewing area Michael and Buck showed us multiple grizzly bears with one sighting of a sow and cub where the sow caught a salmon out of the river and fed it to the cub. There were multiple other sightings of grizzly bears from different towers. One grizzly bear passed within 2 meters of the tower along the river bed. It was a fantastic experience. We also watch a Bald Eagle eating a fish.

Grizzlies and Orcas on the same tour. WOW! - Our boat captain Alex and tour guide Lexi were fabulous. They definitely had the guest experience in mind and worked with other tour operators to make sure we had the best tour. The Homalco First Nations guides, Michael and Gary, know their stuff. The information on the tour was very informative and the viewing towers and land sightings of grizzlies were first class. We watched salmon being caught and even had a momma grizzly and two cubs wandering around under one of our viewing platforms.

Bucket list item...✔️ - We had an amazing day on our Grizzly Bear Tour to Bute Inlet. Team Alexi (Alex and Lexi) were extremely knowledgeable about the area we travelled and the wildlife that we saw. They went out of their way to ensure that we had an opportunity to encounter wildlife along the way. We saw 3 pods of orcas and stellar sea lions on our travels up to Orford Bay. There, we were met by Michael and Gary, 2 members of the Homalco first nation, who bused us to several viewing platforms where we safely observed grizzlies. Michael shared his wealth of knowledge about the bears in the area. The highlight of the tour being our last stop where a mother and her two cubs wandered around our platform scouring the bushes for something to eat before lumbering off across the river.
We travelled up and back on the T3 boat which was heated and spacious for the size of our group. The snacks and catered lunch that they provided were fresh and tasty. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone wishing to see wildlife in this wonderful part of the world.

Excellent Day Tour - We spent a day with Alex and Alexis yesterday on the Bute Island trip. They both worked so hard to ensure that we had a really enjoyable day. We had travelled from Australia in the hope of seeing bears in the wild
We not only saw bears but also orkas, dolphins, humpback whales and sea lions.

OK but need more informations. - We had a very fine trip with this company. Our guides Alex and Alexi ( Lexi?) tolk good Care of us, and safety was top. We were 29 on the boat which I Think is too many people for a group tour. Half has to sit upstairs with blankets , the must have ben very cold even if there were blankets.
Skipper Alex allowed time to Watch whales and Lexi told us about them.
We did bit hear much about the bears, and we had to ask to learn.
On land we Saw bears very close, but the First Nation people, we did not hear much about them and we did not had enough time at the center to read all the posters.
It was a marvelous day with good lunch, cookies and coffee, but it is expensive and the informations was not good enough.
