Amazing! - The boat captain (Captain John), naturalist(Zoey), and native guide(Cheyenne) were all fantastic. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They get you up close and personal, but in a safe manner. We saw orcas, humpback whales, grizzlies, sea lions, and bald eagles.

Excellent excursion! - Not only did we see 6 grizzlybears, we saw sealions, seals, dolphins, dal porpoises, black bears AND orcas during the boatride to the inlet. Jessica was a great guide. Not a cheap excursion but realy worth the money.

THE Best Day - Absolutely AMAZING from start, watching the sun rise on the way to Toba from the boat,to finish, watching two humpback whales blowing and playing on the journey back.We also saw sea lions,a bald eagle and black bears but the highlights for me were watching a big male grizzly and then a mother and cub grizzly catching salmon.I felt totally privileged to witness the amazing wildlife and the beauty of Vancouver Island.Bex,our boat driver and guide, was so informative, knowledgeable and enthusiastic for what she does-a perfect host.Throw in a fabulous lunch and a beautiful day…just THE best.

Bears, epic scenery, whales and more - The Toba Inlet Grizzly tour was amazing. Our guide Bradden was phenomenal, so upbeat and knowledgeable. He made the trip so much fun, and worked hard to make sure we had a great experience. The scenery was outstanding. What a beautiful area to enjoy a great lunch in the sun. We were able to see one huge male Grizzly chow down on some salmon, a black bear, and 4 humpback whales. It was cool to see all of the salmon swimming up river to spawn. Thank you to the Klahoose First Nation for sharing your sacred space. Our guides Ben and Terry sure know the bears. They made sure we stayed safe and shuttled us to the multiple viewing stations. A memorable day for sure. 10 out of 10 would recommend a tour with Campbell River Adventures. Thank you so much! Dean and Julie

Great bear watching - Great tour with Quinn, saw hunchback whale and 4 bears on way to Toba. After a few distant views of bears at the towers, finally got great views of mother and cub playing in the water and eating. On way back found an orca pod as well. Great veggie lunch.

Incredible and unforgettable day! - We were so excited about this tour and it didn’t disappoint, was hands down the highlight of our honeymoon! Quin (or Quinn….sorry!) was so knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what he does and the wildlife he was showing us, he was a wealth of knowledge and really good fun to be around for the day. We saw grizzlies, their cubs, seals and humpback whales. Magical. A day we’ll never forget!

WOW what a great day! - We did the full day grizzly tour to Toba inlet on Wednesday and had an outstanding experience. Tyler W. was our very competent and knowledgeable guide - can’t imagine anyone could beat him! We got to see humpback whales, Orcas, black bears and grizzlies during our tour. So exciting! We also appreciated the indigenous guides from Klahoose Nation - they bent over backwards to make sure we had some excellent bear viewings. Finally, it is important to comment on the food - the snacks and lunch that we were served exceeded our expectations- fresh and delicious! Looking forward to doing another tour next year!

Wonderful! A fabulous day out. - A very special day and highly memorable. Excellent, informed, enthusiastic and friendly guiding. Safety taken seriously. Lovely lunch. It was incredible to see the grizzlies in their own stunning environment. The scenery is to die for. And plenty of whales on the way there and back. A fabulous experience. Perhaps a few too many people but we loved it!

Quinn… a great local guide born and bred in Campbell River - We spent the day from 6.30 to 4.00 with the excellent local guide Quinn who took us out to Toba Inlet on the new eagle covered boat to meet the Klahoose First Nation hosts who led us on a Grizzly Bear tour. Such an interesting day with delicious lunch and excelllent viewing opportunities.

Well organised, expensive and no guarantee of bears easily visible - Tour was very well organised and Quinn the guide very knowledgeable and attentive. Unfortunately only saw bears from very long distance but enjoyed seeing humpbacks and orcas on return trip. Disappointed there was no indigenous interaction and background apart from very brief welcome to island. Was quite surprised and confronted with logging on island and remaining quite for bears but while large trucks passed just above! Lunch good would have appreciated a hot drink in the office while waiting for tour to commence at 7am.
