Unforgettable Whale Watching Experience with Homalco Tours! - I had the absolute pleasure of joining a Homalco Whale Watching Tour last week, and it was an experience I'll cherish forever. From start to finish, the tour was nothing short of spectacular. Our guide, Debra, was incredibly engaging, knowledgeable, and passionate about the marine life we encountered. She made the tour not only informative but also truly captivating with her wealth of knowledge and infectious enthusiasm. Captain Brendan was equally fantastic—super friendly, fun, and always ready with a smile. His expertise on the water, combined with his lively personality, made the journey feel both safe and exhilarating. He navigated us through the stunning scenery with ease, ensuring we had the best possible views of the magnificent wildlife. The highlight, of course, was the wildlife itself. We were fortunate enough to witness orcas, humpback whales, sea lions, and a dazzling array of sea birds. Each sighting was more thrilling than the last, and it was clear that both Debra and Brendan were just as excited as we were, sharing in our awe and delight. Homalco Tours exceeded all my expectations, providing not just a tour, but a truly unforgettable adventure. If you're looking for an extraordinary way to connect with nature and experience the wonders of marine wildlife, I can't recommend them highly enough. A big thank you to Debra, Brendan, and the entire Homalco team for making this such a memorable experience!

Outstanding Whale Watching Trip - This whale watching trip is a real must do. From the moment we went in to their office to be make our booking the members of the team were extremely welcoming. The boat skipper, John and our guide Debra were excellent. Always happy and friendly and up for a laugh. Their knowledge of whales was 1st class. Within a very short time after we set off we were watching orcas followed by humpback whales. The welfare of the whales was always put first by sticking to the laws of the distances that must be respected. We never dreamt that we would be able to see so many whales on one boat trip. We also saw seals with pups and an amusingly group of Steller sea lions who had somehow managed to climb on board a navigation bouy. The trip takes a maximum of 12 guests with inside or outside seating. If you want to see whales in their natural environment, don’t hesitate to book with this 5* company, you won’t regret it.

Amazing day on the water! - We went on the 4h Salish sea tour and had the best time. They have beautiful new boats with heated indoor and outdoor seating! They also provided us with free snacks and hot beverages on the water which was such a treat. Our skipper Ron and guide Janet were so kind, welcoming and really had a special connection with the area. We saw orcas and humpbacks what a treat of a day!!!

First Nations culture incorporated in a stunning whale watching experience! - Guide Janet and Captain Ron were excellent! We saw a pod of about five Orcas swimming and feeding close to the beach. There was a calf in the pod. It was so exciting! We also saw sea lions, Humpback Whales, Seals and birds. Captain Ron was very friendly and competently skippered the very comfortable boat. Janet was very informative and knowledgeable. I chose this tour as it’s run by First Nations and I wanted my cousin (from England) and I to experience the culture of the Homalco people as well as whale watching. I highly recommend this tour!

An unforgettable day. - This was everything I imagined a whale watching boat trip to be. It was not just informative but for someone who is obsessed with Orcas and their protection, full of genuine love, respect and reverence for these majestic creatures. This is the only way I would ever want to see Orcas and our guide Janet and Captain Ron made it a truly memorable experience. Would highly recommend.

More than a whale watching trip - Had a fantastic trip out with Homalco on our "once in a lifetime" trip to Vancouver Island. Wonderful guides, friendly and very knowledgeable who shared information not only about the environment we were travelling in but also about First Nations history and culture - a real privilege to hear this first hand. We saw lots of amazing wildlife and learnt more about this beautiful place and the people who live in it. Thank you for sharing!

Campbell River at its best - We had a superb tour on a beautiful sunny day and were able to see humpbacks, stellar sea lions, eagles and more. Many thanks to our captain Brendan and our guide Janet. Both are first class and really made the trip special . We also learned about local indigenous culture and history firsthand and came away with a deeper understanding. I would have no hesitation in recommending this trip to anyone.
