A Great Day on the Water - This was a great day out - with plenty of humpback whale sightings. Unfortunately, the bears stayed hidden, but we did visit the seal colony, and had a beautiful tour of the coastline. Our vessel operator and guide were both very friendly and knowledgeable. The fresh deli sandwich for lunch was terrific!

A grand day out not to be missed - Our skipper Ron and our guide Deborah were fantastic. We saw so much incredible wildlife - orcas - Pacific white sided dolphins - bald eagles - cormorants - harbour seals - Steller sea lions - oyster catchers and various other beautiful birds. The rapids and Devils Hole whirlpools were fun. Delicious sandwiches and cookies for lunch. A magical trip and the scenery is spectacular. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Wonderful small group experience - Small group (12 max) boat tour with excellent skipper and local indigenous guide. Absolutely wonderful day around the islands. Did see grizzly and black bears, seals and seal lions. Whales were elusive that day (can't guarantee what you'll see, but they try hard!). Guides local experience, background, culture, and stories were a bonus. I appreciate their use of re-usable containers for everything (lunch, drinks) to help environmentally.

Wonderful day - A fantastic day trip through the archipelago around Vancouver Island with our super guide Alan. He was so knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. Information about his heritage and the experiences of the first nation people was sensitively shared. Would highly recommend this trip if you enjoy immersing yourself in stunning scenery. Whilst on our trip, the bears were elusive, the dolphins and bald eagles - both in huge quantities - were standout wildlife experiences for us.

Beyond expectations. - Despite bad weather and a small group Homaco went ahead with the tour. We saw a black bear and a grizzly which was beyond our expectations. We also saw bald eagles, sea lions, seals and to complete a great day a humpback whale. Paul the boats captain and Cassie the guide were excellent. Both very knowledgeable and went out of their way to make the day great. Very good food and refreshments. The booking staff were also very helpful. Very much recommended the tour.

A Fabulous Day On The Water - This was a marvellous day out and about the waters near Campbell River, highlighted with an extensive trailing of an Orca pod. Janet and Brandon were excellent guides, and it was great to note the sharing of information re the Orca with other parties in the area. The scenery is spectacular, and even though we saw no bears we did see said Orca, a sealion, several seals, a multitude of eagles and a lot of other birds. The stop for lunch was excellent: great sandwiches, moored up at a former First Nations village the community hopes to restore, and with four bald eagles circling above. This is an excellent trip and is highly recommended

Excellent experience - One of our favourite experiences on our family trip on Vancouver island. Our guides Ron and Cassie shared their indigenous cultural connections to these lands and waters through storytelling and personal experiences. We were able to spend time, both in the warm interior of the boat and on the deck for easy viewing of lots of wildlife along the way. We felt our safety was always a priority and Ron, the skipper, kept the boat steady through wavy waters and skilfully navigated through the maze of islands and bays. Wonderful experience throughout, including a delicious lunch and coffee/tea service.
