- Giardino Segreto dell’Anima - In Campinola Borgo di Tramonti, at an altitude of 450 metres, among the heights of the immediate hinterland of the Amalfi Coast, there is an inconspicuous and hidden garden, deliberately almost “secret”.
The garden, with its approximately 3000 meters arranged on 8 sloping terraces, the result of the gradual reconversion of an ancient abandoned vineyard that began in 1999, is made up of many micro sectors, each rare and interesting.
You will find a small citrus grove with 25 different species and varieties, a rose garden with over 300 species, varieties and hybrids, many aromatic and medicinal plants, sage, collections of hydrangeas, spiraee, hibiscus, daylilies, lilac, magnolia, oleander, broom, lantana, camellias, wisteria, bignonias, succulents, fruits, vegetables, vines, local spontaneous flora and much more for a total of over 1000 varieties. For this reason, it is also considered an experimental botanical garden due to the quantity, heterogeneity and origin of the plants, in which experts verify the possibilities of taking root and growing.
The visit is guided by Antonio, who, together with his wife, is dedicated to cultivating and pampering this corner of paradise. The start is scheduled at 17:00.
