Had a great time on this... - Had a great time on this tour. I got to see ALOT in one day and Toan, my tour guide, was so great! He shared a lot of information and facilitated a really nice day. Boat rides, local food, local sights…it was special! The boat rides were my favorite part!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Mekong Delta Experience with Eddie! - We had an unforgettable day exploring the Mekong Delta with Eddie as our guide! From start to finish, he was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we had the best experience. The Cai Rang floating market was a highlight—Eddie navigated us through the bustling boats, explaining the local trade and even helping us sample fresh fruits and drinks. We then visited a coconut candy workshop in My Tho, where we got to see (and taste!) the traditional candy-making process. Lunch was an authentic Vietnamese feast, delicious and full of local flavors. Eddie also took us on a relaxing fruit tour, where we enjoyed tropical fruits while learning about local farming, and we ended the day with a fascinating visit to a bee farm, tasting fresh honey and learning about beekeeping. Eddie’s passion for his culture and deep knowledge made this tour so special. If you’re looking for an authentic and well-organized Mekong Delta experience, Eddie is the perfect guide. Highly recommend!

Great day out - Great day out. Long drive (geography dictates) but worth it. Max was knowledgeable and engaging and we learnt lots about context and history. The day itself was fascinating - and in parts challenging to see (the fish and meat markets) but overall a wonderful experience. The food was tremendous and although we tried to eat it all we failed !

10/10 would recommend - This was a very informative tour. I have heard the Mekong Delta in war references since I was young, but I didn’t know what it was all about. Max was great at explaining how the locals live and how the floating market was a trading hub until modern shipping methods took over. It was definitely worth the drive from HCMC to experience this important area. And Max was Awesome!

Great tour! - The boat tours are very fun! It’s exciting to go onto the river and see all the activity. The best part was making foods; seeing the people make noodles and coconut candies was super fun! I would definitely go again if I had the chance.

Many Unique Experiences in One Day - Let me start off by saying that our guide, Max, was one of the best tour guides I have had! He was very friendly, informative, and facilitated all the unique experiences with the respective local businesses/guides so that it was a seamless and enjoyable experience for our group of 5 friends. The tour itself was well worth the price overall as it packed so many unique experiences into the span of about 12.5 hours (4:30am to 5:00pm). We learned the process for making various Vietnamese foods such as rice noodles, coconut milk, honey and chocolate. We also got to sample the items at each of these stations as well as others such as the “snake wine,” and a variety of local seafood. A fair portion of the day is spent driving (about 2h either way) but this served as a nice break from the heat in the air conditioned van. My only word of advice would be to keep realistic expectations for the Cai Rang floating market. Due to the greater accessibility of vehicles and other methods of ground transportation in Vietnam, the once-bustling floating market is no longer the same as what it was 10-20 years ago. Instead of thousands of boats on the river, there were just a few dozen, and while it seemed as though there was some authentic exchange of produce occurring between local farmers, a large part of the market experience seemed to be catered for tourists. That said, it was still very cool to watch and interact with the market vendors and even visit a family on the boat where they live. The second part of the tour from My Tho was based out of the same village which hosts many other Mekong Delta tours. This was the most action-packed portion of the tour and included an amazing, family-style Vietnamese lunch. If you don’t feel strongly about the floating market, there are many tour options which only go to this village and are a bit cheaper, but either way, you will be getting fantastic value on these tours! - Aidan (25 y/o from Canada)

The best tour of all time. - It was the best day. Held a snake, saw lots of catfish, drank lots of coconuts, ate delicious fresh diverse foods, went to floating market, eating fresh chocolate, and watching how coconut milk was made! I don’t want to spoil anything else, just do it and enjoy.

Good escape from Saigon - The noodles and coffee on the boat was a lovely experience as was the rice noodle making and rum tuk drive through the rural villages. I’d pass on the cocoa and song and dance which was a bit contrived. Overall very enjoyable change of scene from Saigon
