The photo ops were the only plus to this day. - It started out with me looking for Viator and not recognizing Westar as the van service. Actually, I did it was not fully clear to me how this was going to work with the pick but we figured it out so I was able to get on the tour. I was unaware of the 3 hr drive to the site and another 3hr back. That is a total of 6hrs in the van! It would have been nice to have that detail. Also, it was rainy and cold. I have done tours before where the vehicle is equipped with blankets and other sundries in case of inclement weather that was not on the forecast. It was also not clear whether or not I was paid up for the "Afternoon Tea," which, if we didn't pursue the process more, I would've paid twice. Alston, our driver, had a roster showing I was paid but I did not, and it was unclear how that was going to be managed. Overall, for such a long day the driver and passengers were pleasant though I would not recommend this so-called tour to anyone. I didn't learn anything about the region's geology or geography.
