• Rio Corobici - Drifting for about two hours on an inflatable raft along the Corobicí or Tenorio River (subject to the current water levels), you’ll find yourself surrounded by the unique Dry Gallery Forest. This habitat features towering trees such as kapoks and figs, as well as rubber and riverside flora, and is home to a diverse array of wildlife including monkeys, bats, lizards, and birds, with iguanas also making an appearance. Our knowledgeable guide will assist in identifying these creatures as we meander down the river with one primary objective in mind: observing Crocodiles. The river boasts a significant population of these formidable reptiles. The journey offers a serene experience with a dash of excitement as we navigate through some gentle class 1 and 2 rapids, making for an enjoyable addition to your holiday in Guanacaste.

Our guide will help us to spot some of these animals as we float down the river looking for our main goal: Crocodiles, there is an important population of these giants living on this river. You will immerse yourself into a special ecosystem: The Dry Gallery Forest, with gigantic kapoks, figs, rubber, and shoreline trees which hosts many species of animal such as monkeys, bats, lizards, birds, Iguanas, and more.
