The display space consists of three eight-meter-high galleries. Within these rooms are glass coated walls, offering a breathtaking vista of the San Miguelito forest and the Nichupte lagoon. The Cancun Mayan Museum boasts one of the world’s most meaningful collections of artefacts from the Mayan culture.
Additional access to the San Miguelito archaeological site is bundled into the Museum visit. This site includes remnants of wooden houses and palms, marking the dwelling spaces of families during the closing years prior to the Spanish conquistadors’ arrival.
