Highlights

After morning hotel pickup from Cancun by minivan, your guide whisks you to a local Maya community called Rancho San Felipe. Meet the residents of this small village, including a shaman who takes you through a traditional purification ceremony.

Next, head into the nearby jungle to reach the Sac Actun cenote system, the world’s longest underground river system, recommended by National Geographic for top-notch snorkeling and cave diving. With the help of your guide, make your way through the caves and arrive at the cavern of Nohoch Nah Chich, studded with stalactites and stalagmites. Slip on provided snorkeling gear and enjoy a cool break from the heat with a swim in the cenote.

Then, hop aboard a Mercedes-Benz Unimog, your 4x4 transport, and drive deep into the rainforest for a 40-foot (12-meter) rappel down to Yaxmuul, another natural underground pool. Sail through the treetop canopy on three ziplines; the last one gives you a splash ending into the water.

After your jungle adventure, settle in for a buffet lunch of homemade classic Maya fare. When your hunger pangs are satisfied, board your air-conditioned minivan for the drive back to Cancun. Your tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel in the afternoon.

Please note: A minimum of two people per booking is required. Part of tour proceeds are dedicated to sustaining local Maya villages.

Lots of fun with our guide Alex - Our tour guide Alex was awesome. He kept us engaged and was like a swiss army knife, he did everything for us. The zip lining and rapelling was lots of fun, be ready to climb what felt like a hundred stories. The snorkeling out in the estuary was fun too, the ocean was a bit rough and you could feel it, but still a great experience. Food at the location was also really good.

A Once in a Liftime, Incredible and Friendly Experience - The morning pickup at our hotel was extremely convenient and our driver and guide for the day, Jose, was awesome! We had two very different snorkeling experiences - one in a beautiful reef and another in a cenote (underground cave) - both were wonderful. We did the zip line package across 7 different zip lines - the most unique of any zip line experience we have ever had. The entire staff was very friendly and kind. They were all very welcoming to our same sex couple and we always felt comfortable. Jose was our incredible guide for the day. He was funny, extremely knowledgeable, and took great care of us. We would recommend this over and over and over again!

Great time - Emilio (aka baby Jesus) was amazing. Absolutely love him. The family that was in the group with our family was a bit “extra” but he handled it with style.

Awesome experience! - My friends and I had such a great time during all the activities! They made us feel safe all throughout the time and the food they gave us was delicious! We stayed in the hotel zone so it was a little bit over a hour drive, but was so worth it! They provide transportation so it a bonus and less hassle for us. 10/10 experience!!

The absolute best tour! - This was such a blast! We felt safe the entire time, our guide was clearly passionate about jungle life and the adventures we were on! We loved the rappelling, the zip lining, the snorkeling in a cenote. I mean it was all incredible. The lunch was also amazing. The Mayan village on site had the most beautiful crafts and their food was to die for! You won’t be disappointed in this tour!

Rude, falsely advertised - I’ll start by saying the rappelling and ziplining were a lot of fun and the cenotes were beautiful. Unfortunately this tour was NOT as described. It says there will not be more than 10 people in a group and we had 12. We also spent an hour in the van just picking people up before even starting our hour and a half drive there. I message the company on our way saying we had 12 people and they assured me we’d be divided into smaller groups once there. They did not. They advertised soft drinks included as well as a buffet lunch. We did not have any soft drinks at all and we did not have a buffet lunch. The tour also says going through the jungle in an all terrain unimog and also driving 4x4’s and we had neither. I asked our group guide, Lorenzo, more than once about them stating that our tour was supposed to have them and he told me there aren’t any ATV’s in the park since 2010. Later, some drove by and when I asked him again, he cut me off and said “before you go with the blah blah blah blah” and used his hand to mimick a talking mouth. It was incredibly rude and disrespectful. Please also know that they don’t allow you to take any of your belongings, including phones, but then will let certain people bring their things. In all the years we’ve been coming to Cancun and all the tours we’ve done, we have never had falsely advertised tours or such rude, terrible guides. Truly the worst experience. I requested a refund and they only returned $196 of the $654 we paid. Ridiculous.

Couldn't go because of operator error - My husband and friend and I were really looking forward to this tour. We were confused by the directions since we chose the tour option at 11:00 am (which said to meet at the Oh! Cancun hotel then) but it also said pickup was at 6:30 am. I texted and called a few days before but wasn't able to get a hold of anyone until ~9:00 am the morning of the tour. They said they had never confirmed the tour with us because we hadn't listed a hotel we needed to be picked up at. We said we were staying at an Airbnb and were planning to drive to the meetup point. They said they hadn't planned on doing a tour that day and we could reschedule for the next day, but it was our last day in Cancun. I've worked in hospitality for a long time and this was the first time something like this has happened to me. We received multiple email and text confirmations and if they needed a hotel for pickup, they should have called or emailed to get one. Pretty disappointed and waiting on a refund.

It's a scam! - Well this is a scam. First booking got messed up (scheduled for wrong day). Had to pay an extra $90 dollars to reschedule. So the day before the excursion, got a call to verify time and place of pick up. Next day the wife and I stood outside at the meeting place for 45 min (calling every 10 min to talk to someone). Finally someone answered the phone. Found out it's canceled due to weather. Would of been nice to get a call saying it was canceled instead of standing around calling like a mad man this morning. well can't reschedule again because we have stuff planned for tomorrow and the next day we fly out. Ask for a refund and will only refund 70% of the excursion (which I still haven't received). "Happy anniversary honey". So in sum: first scheduling got messed up, had to pay extra to reschedule, they canceled, only getting 70% of my money back, and still haven't received it.
