Amazing experience - Jesus and Wilbur were amazing. We could feel the passion from Jesus and it was an honor to experience this with him as our guide. The history portion was so interesting and Jesus is a world of knowledge. It was an incredible experience and the quality was amazing. I could not believe we got all that with the cost. Highly recommend!

Excellent trip - The original tour was cancelled due to numbers and was invited on to this. It was an absolutely brilliant tour with Gonzalo and his team. Pick up was smooth, the entries were perfect and the knowledge shared on the bus and on site was brilliant. Really professional and they made the journey times go fast. Really Welldone to them and made our day so much fun! I would use these guys again! Thankyou!!

Interesting tour, but some deficits - Tour was good organised and plenty of time at the spots. Sometimes it occurred to be a “vending trip”. The lunch was at a “Maya” restaurant after visiting a modern maya shop, after Chichen Itza absolutely overpriced bottles of a local spirit where offered (now everybody knew why the took pictures before lunch, to put in on the bottles). And the guide mentioned several times “to support” the local families. Felt like emotional pressure. Shopping stops are quite common at such tours but it was a bit to much here and overshadowed the great experiences at that day. The tour did not end at 7pm, as scheduled but at 9.30. The construction works at the street couldn’t have started yesterday so an preinformation would have been nice.

Good value but to much time wasted at lunch stop and Valladolid city. - Tour sites and guides were awesome but the Bus was completely packed, literally all 57 seats filled. Felt like I was on Spirit Airlines flight for 11 plus hours. I would shorten the tour duration, start by skipping the Valladolid City stop. We were picked up at 730 am and dropped off at 9 pm, that is a LONG day. Only 2 hours at Chicken-Itza site was not enough time. Needs to be at least 3 hours. The lunch stop could also be shortened to give more time at Chichen-Itza.

Mixed feelings - It's amazing to see one of the seven wonders of the world. Chichen Itza was breathtaking! However the first stop to the Mayan village was unexpected and not needed. Was cool to learn about Obsidian there but then felt very pressured to buy at the shop. That stop made the day much longer than it had to be. The cenote was refreshing but the stop there was rushed. And Valladolid was nice but again, too rushed. I think we should have picked a tour that did not include so many stops. But again, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity to see Chichen Itza! The tour guides were amazing and very knowledgeable and professional.

Beautiful places but mediocre tour. - We did the excursion with the tour operator Yalku Tours. The bus used for the transfer had a very strong smell coming from the bathroom and did not make the transfer pleasant. The person in charge of the explanation in Chichén Itzá only explained a small part, (The Castle and the soccer field), later when I told the excursion guide about the situation he told me that I should have told him at the time, but How am I going to do it if I don't know the place and I have no idea what else there is to see, other than the fact that I would have had to look for him all over the property.

Worst Tour experience - We and other tourists faced worst situation because of the protests going on at Chichen Itza. And protest started just one day before trip. (Trip Date: 03 Jan. 2023). Still tour agency didn't give a damn about it. They were interested in earning money. They changed the visit from Chichen Itza to Ek Balam but still charged same 31 USD tax fee for entry in archeological site. But in reality you can check official website to see Ticket/Tax Fee cost of El Balam is around 35% less than Chichen Itza. We are paying the tour fee already. Why didn't they take Tax/Ticket fee based on visited location? Their answer to this question was," We don't care. If you are not interested just cancel your tour and return.
