The trip will begin along the route linking the Maya Riviera with the relics. This delightful, cozy journey allows us to admire lush green spaces and get a glimpse of the local community. Our travels will take us to the city of Chichen-itza, where we’ll explore the remnants of Maya ruins through a guided tour given by our knowledgeable guides. They will share with us the secrets and history veiled within every nook of this impressive site that hosts over 20 structures, including one of the 7 world wonders - the temple or pyramid of Kukulkan. Glancing at the glorious edifices, we’ll have an opportunity to cool down at one of the cenotes near Chichen Itza city - the ik-kil cenote, famous for its partially opened form and moderate depth. Enjoy capturing stunning photographs and swimming in its exotic waters. Journey will continue towards Valladolid, a city of significant importance to the Spanish during their invasion of the Mayan civilization. Here we’ll savor regional cuisine in a local eatery.
