Small group size and great staff made for a perfect day - The great staff and the small group size. Made it a perfect day. I felt safe and the instructions were always very clear on what to do and where to meet. The drinks were good and the buffet was delicious, especially the chicken.

Memories to Cherished - My 2 adults daughters and myself had a wonderful experience. Crew memebers were attentive and respectful and very helpful. We truly enjoy it!

Amazing day out, pack a lunch though! - Incredible experience. Definitely worth doing, although a few little negatives.
- the staff are great - friendly and helpful.
- but they’re difficult to hear on the boat so a lot of us were confused about what was going on. Also the photographer is constantly trying to get you to pose so they can sell you photos afterwards.
- the snorkelling was fantastic, (make sure you use the flippers as it helps a lot!), and the views are incredible.
- the buffet lunch was really bad. Awful cold and overcooked food. Crazy busy queues as all the boat tours get dropped there. Nice little beach there but the food was really awful. Defo pack a lunch.
- everything else was incredible.

We wouldn't come back. - The beach of women islands we really didn't like because of the number of people there!! The beach is small and the people are all packed. We prefer to stay on the beach of the hotel in Cancun which is quiet. The only good thing about female islands is to go by taxi to one of the tips of the island, where there are statues of the Maya and there is a nice landscape with cliffs and good pictures are taken. But if you want to know a beach go elsewhere, at least in November!

Party boat - If you are looking for a party this is the excursion for you. The staff was amazing. Passing out drinks, doing shots, dancing, etc. It was for sure a fun time. If you are looking for a good snorkeling experience this is not for you. We seen about 5 fish and some hand sculptures. It was underwhelming. We then were taken to a beach club. It was nice and the food was good. I thought we were going to have a guided tour of the island but we were just told to do our own thing for the next 3 hours. Over all it was a fun time just not what I was expecting.

Overcharged for experience and denied refund - Excursion listed "Join a small group" with "book maximum of 15 passengers". Paid in advance for 15 passengers for small group sailing. Upon arrival at dock passengers were forced to pay more! In addition to the $1185 paid to Viator, the amount of $1,274 was charged for excursion, plus expected dock fees, for another boat for group of 15. Delayed for 2 hours after haggling with the Best Tours in Mexico. This experience deflated and caused undue stress. Once aboard group did not enjoy their time as much as they should have. Also missed following dinner reservations. A message was sent the DAY OF excursion from the provider Best Tours in Mexico with a new ticket and an unsolicited message of "It is for a Regular shared tour, not private.". This message indicates the provider was shuffling everything around on the day of excursion, leaving absolutely no time for alternate arrangements to be made by us. Full refund requested from Viator was denied for the portion paid through Viator platform. Viator gave a refund of $106! Passengers paid over double for this experience. Best Tours in Mexico should be held responsible for changing everything on DAY OF tour, and the additional charge of $1,274 at the dock.

Unethical excursion company. - I booked this tour for my clients on a bachelorette party. We booked up every seat on the boat so they could have the cat to themselves because it had a maximum of 15 people through viatour. Clients showed up and they changed their ticket the morning of their trip and changed their boat and put them on with a bunch of other people on a different boat. Then charged them $1274 over and above the money they already paid! if they wanted to go by themselves. Left for the excursion two hours late, brought them back late with the clients missing their dinner reservations and refusing to compensate for this unethical gouge. Of course, after all this happened, the clients had a miserable time on top of it.

No Transport Provided - We didn’t get any news of when we were gonna get picked up after being contacted several times. I then called trip advisor customer service and was told that transportation was confirmed by the company. Our van never showed up and they called us and said that in fact the transportation wasn’t confirmed. We had to cancel our whole booking since we had no other day to reschedule on our vacation. Mind you we booked this months in advance. Luckily we were able to find another one for the day of but it was double the price. A very disappointing experience would not recommend.

Avoid this tour at all costs - dangerous and nasty. - So disappointing. Pros: The crew was friendly, the water was beautiful, the drinks were plentiful and the guacamole/chip snack was good. Cons: no snorkeling instructions given, no fins for snorkeling and the current where we were dropped was the strongest I've ever snorkeled in - it was hard to get back to the boat and several people were struggling without help from the crew - seems all they were interested in was taking photos to try and sell to you later. They started handing out alcohol as soon as we took off from the pier - a first - all others we have been on wait until after you snorkeling. Huge issue was they did not even take us where the tour description said. They left us on Isla Mujeres for about two hours instead of the final stop on the tour of North Beach - the weather was great/hot so that was not the issue - and we specifically asked the boat captain if we were going there after Isla and he said yes - he would drop us a three minute walk from there and we would have about an hour on what he called the best beach in the world. Didn't happen - he lied. In Isla they dropped us and gave no clear instructions about how to find the boat when it was time to leave - they moved from where they dropped us to another pier. Our group was asking ferry workers how to find our boat and wandering around in a huge crowd. When we started cruising away from the island we asked again about the beach and he said we weren't going because we couldn't keep our transportation back to the hotel waiting - yet he motored back extremely slowly and kept pouring shots and other alcohol to everyone while pushing photo sales. There were young teens on board and they blasted the nastiest music I have ever heard, with every cuss word, promoting violence and sex. Very inappropriate. Back at the pier of origin I asked for the restroom and was sent up a shaky spiral staircase in a dilapidated building with a long hall of abandoned rooms - creepy - finally found a toilet in a former shower stall - no sink - no paper - beyond nasty. AVOID the Cat Mania snorkeling/beach/Isla Mujeres at all costs!!
