AMAZING catamaran experience! - Amazing was the name of the catamaran and amazing was the experience. It was wonderful. The drinks were great and I loved Lili the co-captain/coordinator. She was funny and personable. I highly recommend this trip from Playa Mujeres to Velazquez on Isla Mujeres.

A favorite excursion for sure! - One of our all-time fav excursions! Thank you to Alexis, our tour guide! Beautiful and luxurious accommodations. One of our shorter trips for travel time and not overly taxing. Excellent option for all levels of activity. I will be doing this one again on my next return!!

Full Day - The trip says they leave at 9am but they didn't leave until 10am so we didn't get back to our hotel until 6pm. Didn't expect to be gone that late and had made dinner reservations. The crew was very nice and accommodating. Freddie was very informative if you spoke Spanish. We had limited info in English. Once on the island We were told we had to follow him to get a boarding pass to return but it was just a way to get us to a store to buy stuff. The beach area had nice beds for relaxing. The food was very good and they had wait staff to help. The snorkeling was very nice with underwater statues. I would recommend it.

Not the best - The most touristy thing we did in Playa del Carmen. You book the trip as soon as you get there they target you and up sale you to a “platinum” package where they “guarantee” 35 or less people and private chairs on the island. Both were false. The snorkeling was the worst experience. Too many people crowded together, boats everywhere, we lost 3 people on another boat had to send them over to us. It was about 20 minutes and hard to take time to enjoy the sea life. The sailing was really good and worth the upgrade since everything else was a pain. Although we made it a great time would prefer something else to spend the day doing.

Half of What was Promised! - If you review the Viator listing for this activity, (of which I have screen-shot copies), it states that "Spinaker activity, Use of SCUBA equipment, Bottled water" are included. None of these things were provided to anyone on the trip. We did get a boat ride and food and the crew was very accommodating, but I booked a trip to the Subaquatic Museum and did not get that, along with the other listed items. The weather was not 'bad' in any way. I have been traveling to Cancun for 30 years for Scuba and snorkeling, and boat trips, and on the day of this trip the clear weather with light winds were as good as it ever gets. The excuses given for why did not go to the Museum were flimsy and seemed untruthful (weather and water currents) --in all likelihood cost, expediency, or something else unknown was the reason the did not go there, and we did not get a different 'second site' as promised since we didn't go to the museum area.
