Kayaking through the Red Mangroves - The Mangroves were serene. Eugene our guide was superb. Touring with him is like having a biologist with you who can provide details about all the local flora and fauna.

Terrific bird watching and nature exploration thru mangroves via kayaking - My wife and I did a private kayak bird watching and nature tour with Alfredo. It was wonderful. He is very knowledgeable, fun to talk with and he did a great job of sharing his love of birds and nature with us. We kayaked all through the mangroves in the lagoon of Cancun. Saw many birds, crocodile, plants, stingrays. And got many wonderful pictures. I highly recommend it. This is not the “big box tour”. It is personalized and a truly wonderful experience.

Lovely! - Fun experience in the mangroves watching birds and learning about the lagoon. We did the afternoon tour and it wasn’t too hot and the group pace was just fine.

Memorial Mangroves - We lucked out with Christian as our guide on a windy day, meaning that speedboats weren't able to travel the canals. This made the the outing very peaceful with plenty of bird-spotting. Christian was very knowledgeable about all our surroundings and always made sure we felt safe. He provided many great photos of our excursion at the end. The only drawbacks were the difficulty of finding the meeting point (no specific signage for Sea-Doo Tours) and how chilly it got on the water once the sun went down. A warning to bring long sleeves would have been helpful.

Always good to learn about the place you're visiting - Leisurely tour through the mangroves using stable sit-on kayaks. Great conversations with our guide, who spent the time to identify and explain the intricacies in these ecosystems. I was surprised and pleased by the lack of insects trying to eat us (although he mentioned that isn't always the case ;-)
