Great experience! - We had a very warm welcome! We started off with getting to know Alberto and his amazing mom. We had a great time making our own drinks and tortilla’s. The location was very homey wich made the experience even more great. I would recommend this 5-star experience to everyone!

Great! - “I had an amazing time at the cooking class!, our instructor, was fantastic – incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and had a great sense of humor that made the class so much fun. His passion and expertise in cooking were truly inspiring, and he made even the more challenging techniques easy to follow. I would highly recommend this class, especially with Alan as the instructor!”

So much fun and so delicious! - We had the BEST time cooking with Alberto and Lily! Together we made many authentic Mexican dishes and learned lots of techniques along the way, which I am excited to use at home! The food was DELICIOUS - 10/10, the best Mexican food I’ve ever had and we left with very full bellies and big smiles on our faces.
From the beginning of the experience Alberto made us feel so comfortable and excited to learn, and they were excited to share all their knowledge.
I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a taste of real Mexico in a fun, relaxed, informative and genuine way!

HIGHLY recommend!!! - My friend and I always love trying new things when we travel & I have done cooking classes in other countries so we decided to try one in Mexico! We found Alberto & Lilly through trip advisor & decided to book with them! Alberto was so friendly & even took us for street tacos before heading to his home. Once we got there, Lilly greeted us & we got to cooking! We made a ton of local dishes & Alberto also made us some local drinks! It was SUCH a great experience & I would highly highly recommend booking this experience!

Worth it, a great class! - Chef Alberto creates a lovely morning with a tour of the market along and then a short ride to his house for a completely homemade meal. Together with his mother, Lily, we made guacamole and chicken mole. We pressed the tortillas with an old-school tortilla press and also enjoyed a refreshing mocktail. Their level of English was excellent and we really enjoyed our time in their quaint kitchen. It was one of the best things we’ve eaten in a while!!

Fresh local cuisine - Alberto was a wonderful host and gave us a fantastic experience. Shopping at the local market and helping prepare our delicious meal was memorable. Special shout out to Lily, Alberto’s mom. Highly recommended experience.

Welcoming, Educational, & Fresh Flavors - Alberto was early to meet us and guided us through a fantastic local market. He answered all our questions about various spices and mole. Then he introduced us to a maize production business that provided fresh dough for tortillas. We had various food allergies in our group and he accomodated them without hesitation. He was so welcoming and cooking with him and his mom was the highlight of our trip. I cannot highly enough recommend learning and feasting with Alberto. You will not get this experience any other way.

Outstanding Mexican Cooking Experience - Alberto met me right on time and gave me a brilliant tour of the market, including shopping tips and some delicious street food. Once we had all our groceries, we headed to his home, where I met his wonderful Mum, Lilly.
We cooked for a few hours, making several authentic dishes. Alberto and Lilly explained every step of the cooking process, giving me many invaluable tips and tricks to take back home and try with my family in the UK.
At the end, Alberto showed me how to make the perfect frozen margarita, which we enjoyed together while feasting on the wonderful food we had cooked.
I am fortunate to travel to many locations, I usually do a food tour or cooking class when I travel. This class and experience were the best I have ever had - I 1000% recommend booking with Alberto for your authentic Mexican cooking experience!

A true cooking class from the market to table! - Such a fun & unique experience to go to the market. And then, we went to his home and helped cook a meal with his amazing mom. A great learning experience, delicious food and wonderful people!

Cannot wait for the next time! - Our experience with Alberto and Lily was absolutely wonderful! Walking through the market to choose the freshest ingredients was so educational. And he was able to plan a menu for different dietary choices so easily.
Our class consisted of making guacamole, a delicious grilled fruit salsa, and different types of tacos. We even made our own tortillas!
We had an amazing time with them and would for sure return again for another meal in the next trip and definitely recommend it to everyone. 5 huge stars!
