Great pick up from airport - The airport in Cancun is pretty far from Riviera Maya, it is really worth it to book a private transportation. Comfortable air conditioned car .

Large party airport to hotel transportation - It was very hard to find a service for a group of 13 from airport to riviera maya. So glad I found happy shuttle. They did an amazing job from airport pickup to hotel and from hotel back to airport. Very professional and prompt timing. Price was also very reasonable and super safe. The van was a big mercedes because we were a large group. Also super nice driver and really had a great experience and highly recommend .

Comfortable private shuttle to the Hard Rock Riviera Maya for our 25th anniversary! - I booked a private round trip shuttle from the Cancun airport the to the Hard Rock Riviera Maya. The outbound and return was prompt, clean and timely. Once at the airport exit it is very chaotic. If this is your first time to this airport. Take this advise. You need to ignore everyone trying to sell you something and make your directly to the Happy Shuttle representative. This it the most difficult part of the process. Just stick to getting to the Happy Shuttle representative and you will be fine. The representatives greeted us, and we waited about 5 minutes. The driver was courteous and made certain that we were comfortable. It was a little warm, so he cooled the vehicle a little for a more comfortable journey. Took us right to check in and unloaded our luggage. The return driver was 5 minutes early and were made it to the airport with plenty of time to check in. I highly recommend the service.

Hacked Website - Beware!!! - Booked through Happyshuttle's website and payed on their website. We did not get a confirmation email as described on the website so we called to confirm and was told they did not have our reservation. The site was hacked and our payment was lost. We informed them of what happened and they would not help us. Sounded like this had happened to others. Beware!!!!!

Friendly Drivers with Terrible Owners - Better Value Elsewhere - Took our Happy Cancun Shuttle and they showed up when we needed them to show up, the drivers were friendly. You can stop reading here if you want. Happy Cancun is in the business of airport transportation. In instances where you cannot make your flight or your flight is cancelled, that's where the friendly/reliable service comes to a screeching halt. They have a 24 hour policy for changes, which makes complete sense if you were to cancel your service. In our scenario, our flight overbooked, and we were rescheduled to fly out the following night. We were able to call our resort, which rescheduled our entire trip, the airline was able to reschedule the flights. Pretty much everyone, who had MORE logistics to overcome, were able to get on the phone at midnight and re-arrange all of our travel details, with enough empathy and understanding of the frustrations of a family of 5 (three young children) having to drive back from the airport at 1 AM. I immediately messaged Happy Cancun who's WhatsApp chat worked great. Someone responded immediately, as we were requesting a reschedule. They advised they would work on this request for us. The next morning I received an email from Happy Cancun advising it was under the 24 hour cancellation period and we would be required pay a re-booking fee which we understood and would be happy to pay a reasonable fee. Happy Cancun booking was originally made for $169 USD round trip. The Re-booking fee for one way was $87 USD! They had told us to pay MORE for the one way rebooking than we had paid originally, in addition to keeping the original payment. After hours of back and forth Happy Cancun offered 15% off their higher rate which came in at $73 USD. All in all we ended up paying $242 USD for two 30 minute drives to and from the airport. You want a reliable and friendly experience, Happy Cancun could be your choice. But there are far more reasonably priced options available, and those options likely have far better policies that will help you manage last minute flight interruptions.

Happy Shuttle cancelled our transportation-July 2024 - We have been to Cancun many times and had been using Happy Shuttle services for transportation to and from our hotels for years. However, we traveled in July of 2024 and Happy Shuttle cancelled our reservation for pick up the day after the hurricane hit Playa Del Carmen. We understand natural disasters occur, but if the airport was operational, they should have been available for their customers. Every transportation agency was opened except for them. Fortunately the hurricane did not cause major damage to Cancun and its surrounding areas. We were stranded at the airport upon arrival and had to find a means to transport to and from hotel. We were VERY DISAPPOINTED with Happy Shuttle. Please be careful when booking with them.
