An honest taxi driver - we would ride with Tino again anytime - We arrived in Playa del Carmen from the ferry from Cozumel on 02 February 2023. We had our luggage taken from the ferry to the terminal by a friendly bike luggage driver. The very nice gentleman asked where we had to go. We let him know that we needed a taxi to Cancun. When we arrived at the ferry terminal, we were introduced to Tino, who runs a taxi. We asked for the price to Cancun and he showed us a price list, which listed Cancun at 1,450 pesos. For us, the price was adequate, as we had 2 big suitcases, 1 diving bag, 1 hand luggage plus a small dog with us. (Tino loves animals!) Immediately all our luggage was brought to the taxi (went like magic). After Tino had loaded the luggage into his spacious taxi, we were asked if we would like a cold drink - with a wink he told us that the drink was included in the fare. We can recommend Tino with a clear conscience. He has his heart in the right place and is also a very good driver who concentrates on the road. Thank you Tino for a safe and very pleasant trip to Cancun.

No single ticket possible - I booked single shuttle ride for $12 and was told that is only possible to book double and I pay Extra $12.0 upon entering shuttle van?

Not recommended - Agreed to a price and then changed the price half way through the trip. Very shady. Pick another service if you don't want to be ripped off.
