Must do tour! - The only thing better than the food was Tim! Super chill/nice guy and he took us to all the true local spots in south Cancun! 1. Fish tacos and prawn soup at El Oasis. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the fish tacos were awesome. Crispy fried but juicy inside. The prawn soup had a nice flavor but was a bit salty for me. These are considered “afternoon tacos”. 2. Mexico City style tacos at Tacos Rigo. They had the most lengthy menu for tacos, including cow head meat, tripe, tongue, cow eye meat. We were not feeling that adventurous, so we ordered pastor, chorizo, and steak 😂 the horchata and hibiscus water were equally delightful. These are considered “evening tacos”. 3. Tacos Arabes at Bait Cajam. These were hands down our favorite tacos. The tortilla is similar to a gyro pita, and they put shaved porked and cheese inside. Add on the garlic sauce and *chefs kiss* 💋 The cucumber lemon chia water was also delicious 😋 4. A sweet treat to end the night, Marquesitas at Tony’s! It’s thin like a crepe but super crispy, and you choose your fillings. We got Nutella, nuts, and bananas 🍌 Legit one of the best desserts ever ❤️ If you are ever in Cancun, this is a must do food tour! 5 stars ⭐️
