Great Long Trip - Zeferino, our guide was friendly and informative. His knowledge of the Mayan history phenomenal. Our driver Vinnie as well was awesome and friendly. Doing 4 things in one day that lasted from pick up to drop off (14 hrs) was a lot and fairly long bus rides in between stops. Buffet lunch was phenomenal. On board snacks that came with our package consisted of a ham/cheese sandwich, apple and juice box. Tulum, Coba were awesome. In Tulum be prepared for a lot of walking in direct sun. Coba was tree covered and more comfortable. The Cenote too was beautiful. The bus was over air-conditioned and particularly after swimming in the Cenote it was freezing.

Busy day trip. - A very informative day out with lots to do. Our guide Fransisco gave us lots of the history of Tulum and Coba and the cenote was a welcome refreshing break. We saw lots of bats and also squirrel monkeys in the jungle and iguanas were everywhere. The bus driver Berto was very kind and provided cold drinks. A long day but very worthwhile.

Good option for visiting Yucatán peninsular but be prepared for a very long day - Good tour that allows you to spend another day to explore Mayan ruins beyond the first stop at Chichen Itzan. Tulum with great cliff overlooking ocean and Coba under great greenery trees. The weather on the day we went was nice and cool. The tri-cycle ride through the forrest at Coba is very pleasant. The Cenote we stopped by is more rustic so I didn’t take the dip and it’s quite late in the day already. If possible, I’d rather skip the Cenote and head over to Playa del Carmen directly so we can reach there before night falls. As it is, we got to Playa del Carmen at 7pm so it’s already dark and we can’t see the beach.

Not recommended - This trip had started with pickups from hotels. We were punctual but others not which resulted in massive delay. The bus trip was extreme long and tiring, Viktor the driver did not respect the speed limit and as the road was bumpy, the bus journey was terrible. More than half of the trip was spent on the bus. Zeferino the guide did not use microphone, we couldn't hear him at the back of the bus, he was focusing on stupid jokes rather than giving really useful information during the journeys. The time spent on the sites was too short. In total it was over a 12 hours tour, more than 7 hours on bus where the guide was absolutely useless and boring.

Not worth your time - Took over 5 hours from pick-up to the first site, lots of time wasting! Too many extra cost that should have been in the initial cost, very deceiving. Bus had comfortable seats thank goodness, but the suspension you felt every bump. Couldn't hear guide over air-conditioning, which was freezing requested it be turned down several times. The first 3 sites were interesting but the Playa del Carmen we got there so late and it was just to get us to spend money.

❌Do Not Take This Tour❌ - Do not take this tour. Overall, the tour was poorly planned and poorly executed. I will only highlight a few of the concerns below in the interest of time. They arrived over an hour late to pick me up from my hotel and they told me to wait OUTSIDE of the hotel ON THE ROAD. I waited at the bus stop alone from 6:20 am to about 7:35 am. This was not unique to me as other persons on the tour experienced the same issue. We were carried to Starbucks at LA Isla Shopping mall. The driver didn't speak much English so all I could make out was Starbucks. I received no information as to why I was in Starbucks. I observed a line. I joined the line and that is when I realised that this is where you pay the $40. The attendants were uncommunicative and unfriendly. The tour guide manifested there. The first stop was to be Tulum when we arrived there there were no tickets purchased for us to enter so we had to make a detour to Coba. The driver drove extremely fast, which made me very uncomfortable. The tour guide 'regaled' the group on the way with details of his cancer treatment and the history of his family. The cancer diagnosis had affected me tremendously especially as an empath. The tour guide seems to be a very affable man but his oversharing about his cancer treatment and announcement of this being his last tour as he had just received a letter from his doctor was highly inappropriate and frankly quite suspicious. Further, upon arriving at Coba it was quite clear that the tour guide was not in a fit and proper health state to conduct this tour. He rushed through the tour. He provided very little details. Some steps he did not climb with us to give us the history of the place we were viewing. He indicated that he wasn't sure if we would get to go to Tulum. This was infuriating as that was the main reason I went on this tour. After Coba, we set out for Tulum and he collected what appeared to be the tickets through the window of a passing vehicle. At Tulum, he again rushed through the tour provided less information than required. Admittedly, I ashamedly had to eavesdrop on other people's tour just to receive information. I should not have been put in that invidious position as I paid for my own tour. Upon arriving at the cenote at 5:18 pm (way beyond the expected time for this stage of the tour), when we were to have lunch we were told that they have no food. At this stage I wanted a refund. Whilst others went to swim, I had to wait whilst starving for food to be prepared. Eventually a miniscule buffet was prepared. Suffice it to say, I had stomach issues the next day. By this time it was very late and we had one last stop - Playa del Carmen. Upon arrival we were carried to a tourist store. We were told about the tequila making process and given a bottle of tequila. After which we were given some time to see 5th Ave. On the way back to the hotel, they drove pass my hotel and I had to alert them. I had to wait until they dropped off some people before they turned back to carry me to my hotel. They had the wrong hotel on the list for me. I was very reticent about writing this review because I don't want to malign anyone but as a traveller I would want someone to write this review so that I can make an informed decision.
