My experience at the ruins of Tulum and the guide - We were and really liked we had as guide Victor and Victor as they call it our "victour" I loved Victor it is great. He really helped us discover these ruins and find out who the Mayans were. He explains well and is attentive to our questions. He is present throughout the tour and he was really a great guide. If you're lucky enough to go, I wish you'd run into both Victors. Our tour was in English and German. So if you go to French, you're probably not gonna get Victor. For the ruins. They don't have many but enough to give you a good idea of how they lived and how they thought. I advise you to go as soon as possible because when we did not return they had a queue of about 1 hour ... So I was glad I got up at 6:30 to go to this activity. I advise you to bring a closing thermos because they do not accept plastic. Anything bottle and bag you can't bring with you they'll throw them away. But the termos he accepts.

A Great Experience! - The Tulum experience was not only beautiful but also very educational! There was so much to learn about and from the Mayan people! We loved our guide Ben and Raphael who were so completely thorough, passionate and fun! It is HOOOOOTTTTT so be prepared to wear cool clothing! I wore moisture wicking and spf clothing. Our driver provided such a comfortable ride and the bus was very clean. The views of the beach were incredibly beautiful! The food at the shops after to tour was delish!

History, natural beauty and shopping - Professional and funny bilingual tour guides. Picked up in vans around the city and then everyone was consolidated into a large comfy tour bus. All of the sites we visited were top notch. This tour combines the stuff I love: History, natural beauty and shopping! I highly recommend entering the cave cenote with the closed ceiling. It's magical. I also recommend "ah cacao" a shop in playa del Carmen. The tour was 12 hours and it was a blast. Last year my husband and I had a negative tour experience in oaxaca that also lasted 12 hours and we were exhausted. The difference between that one and this one is accomodations and communication. I highly recommend this tour!

VISIT TULUM - Visiting Tulum will give you access to some of the most fascinating archaeological areas in the Yucatan Peninsula. First, there is the archaeological area of Tulum that rises on a cliff facing the turquoise sea. A postcard you'll never forget in your life.

Issues with trip - Tour was good, info before was bad. We were told we would be picked up at 7:50am on the day before we left at 5pm. At 9:10 pm we got a new email saying they would now pick us up at 7am. I didn't see the email till 3am that morning. I had to wake everybody early and get them up. Also they told us one price for the tickets, then changed the price days later and would not accept the prices quoted. Had to run around to find the money for the new price. Keep things consistent!!

Highly recommend - Great location, well maintained site. The shopping in the area is vast. There is a small restaurant there where I had some amazing tacos and a fresh coconut.

Normal, full of extras aside - Guide in Tulum gives you a brief explanation no more than 10 minutes. And the way back you do it alone. In the cenote they do not give almost time since they include the meal time remaining less than 50 minutes of change-bath-change Does not include food (18€ in the only place there is buffet with separate drinks, there is no area where you can eat food outside) Excessive free time at carmen beach +2h, the least important thing of the tour

Expect a 12 hour trip - This was my 2nd trip with the SAT Mexico company. Very informative experiences with energetic guides and patient drivers. What will not be listed in the description of this Tulum tour is that it will be a minimum of 12 hours. They do not have a specific 8-9 hour day trip as mentioned. Lots of out-sourcing with this company. Yes, they do pick you up from your hotel in a van, but then they drop you off to board a mega bus. The reason for the two stars is that once boarded on the mega bus our guide mentioned that the crew had two separate groups. One that would be dropped off at Playa Del Carmen (an hour from Cancun) and the other (ours) will be picked up from PDC, after the Cenote. Once arrived at Playa Del Carmen, he announces that we have an hour and a half to catch dinner then he exits the bus. There was no shuttle for us. I did not mind being in PDC, but don’t lie to your customers. We had evening plans we had to break. Tulum is a beautiful place. We were passed off to an English speaking tour guide, which lasted about 30 minutes. Afterwards, they give you an hour and a half of free time. Something to be aware of (not mentioned) is that there is a wonderful buffet available at the Cenote for only $340mxn/person. Some of the best food I’ve had since being here this week. Hope this info is useful to someone taking the tour.

Tui’s trip to Tulum, Cenote and Snorkel - A stressful tour that did not have a good guide. We bought the trip through Tui. If you are going to go, wear swimwear under light clothes because you do not have time to change between turns. You sit dung in the bus between stops. You could not take your own pictures in the cenote and it is super bad. If you wanted water with you among the ruins, it was a total plastic ban. We were lined up as in security at the airport o all bags would be checked. Garbage bags, tissue packaging. Plastic puzzles for children, yes everything that was plastic was discarded. Cigarettes and lighters were also prohibited. You're getting your head around it. Then you see how it looks on deserted gardens and the like. Plastic en masse. If Tui had at least informed us about this before, we would have thought differently.
