Never a dull moment - Me and Bae had a blast, I’ve experienced Coco Bongo before in Mexico a few years back and in DR. This experience by far has been the best. Tickets were pricy as hell but when drinks are included and the ambiance was top notch, it made it all worth it.

An unforgettable night - My friend & I went to Coco Bongo upon the recommendation of some friends at home. Carlos was then recommended from a woman we met on the beach (Claudia), we had the most amazing time. Carlos got us some amazing places to watch the show and made sure we were well taken care of once he left the club. The show was absolutely amazing and before we knew it 5 hours at passed. As two young twenty-something year old girl, we were concerned about safety / our drinks being out in a foreign city; but we felt SO safe and welcomed.
If you’re ever thinking about going, GO. If you have the chance to be accommodated via Carlos- it makes it that much better.
A night myself & Kelsey will never forget.

Once Was Worth It, But Enough - New Year's Eve 2020 - When we decided we would visit Cancun over the New Year, Coco Bongo was the obvious choice to ring in 2020.
Tickets
We bought our standing tickets about 2 months in advance for about $300. If you want a table and you don't want to pay the crazy high prices to have your own place, wait until a few days before the show. The ticket prices will drop significantly. The top tables that were priced in the thousands two months earlier were barely more than our standing tickets just a few days before the event. Just go to the ticket office the few days before and buy them.
Drinks
The tickets we got included endless drinks at the bar, which sounds nice, but it kind of a rip off. This must be a huge moneymaker for the club on New Years because the club gets SO packed that there is no way to get to the bar. And if you manage to push your way through the crowd to get to the bar, you'll have to stand to wait for an annoying amount of time before you're served. If you really want to get your moneys worth in drinks, you'll have to do it after everyone clears out after midnight.
Food
Our tickets said that food was included...I never saw a plate or crumb of food the whole time we were there.
Crowd
Though the crowd was exciting to be a part of, more than anything it was uncomfortable. The sea of people that gathered for the New Year was impressive to say the least, but very tight. About 2 hours leading up to midnight, the dancefloor was so packed that you couldn't dance or move, and going anywhere (bathroom, bar, outside) was almost impossible. I wish I was just being dramatic, but it was crazy! Though it did clear out a bit after the ball dropped, it was still very packed. Again, I would suggest waiting to get your tickets so you can sit more comfortably at a table.
Entertainment
The quality of the performers that Coco Bongo hires are top-level!!! The acrobatics and dance numbers were very impressive. All of the costumes, performers, and skits were very well-rehearsed and very professional. The performances alone were well worth the cost of the tickets and the pain of the crowd!!!
Overall, I think the New Year experience at Coco Bongo is something we are glad we were a part of, but if we ever make it back, we will go on a more normal night. The chaos was fun, I would recommend Coco Bongo for the New Year at least once!

The show is AMAZING! They pack you in like cattle! - We attended the New Years Eve celebration at Coco Bongo (12-31-19).
When you first arrive, get a drink. It may be the last drink you get all night. The place gets so packed, you literally cannot move.
Where to stand: Stay away from the sides. You will literally get pushed over onto the stairs and the staff will not allow you to stand on the sides because that space is reserved for those that bought a table ticket. I literally got a severe rub burn on the entire side of my calf from being pushed so hard by the crowd; I used my let to brace myself against the risers where the tables sat so I would not fall over. Stay to the center. You will get a great look at the shows and NOT be pushed over constantly!
Purchasing a table: I would NOT buy a table close to the main floor. The crushing floor crowd will constantly be trying to invade your space. If you are going to get a table, go high!
The show: the show is amazing! If you allow yourself to let go of the crushing crowd around you and just focus on the music and the show, you will thoroughly enjoy the show! The athleticism shown in each skit is really impressive! We had a great time because we tuned out the crowd and just focused on the music & show!
Most Sincerely!
