These two young lovers tragically discovered that they were blood brothers, and their story of forbidden love and sacrifice resonates in every corner of the hacienda. As you tour the majestic gardens and main house, you will learn about the history of “green gold” in Yucatan and the brutal exploitation of Mayan workers.
